I've been going to Circa Barbershop since June 2015 and it's hand down the best haircuts I have ever received! First of all the creator and barber DR is the coolest and probably most badass barber ever. He never disappoints and is helpful is showing me how to style my hair after he finishes. His co-barber Emma Dixon is also amazing in her work. She has a great personality and I throughly enjoy getting my hair cut my her as well! She goes above and beyond to make sure my cut is just the way I want it. I was amazed when Sarah finished my cut on my first visit here. For years, I've asked barbers and stylists if they were familiar with the 'Princeton' cut, one from my childhood (when I hated it), and now a style apparently lost to history, but one I think would be more appropriate to my age and looks. Sarah also had never heard of it, but put me at ease that she would do her best to make me look good. 20 minutes later, the result was very close to the Princeton as I remembered it, and it looked just as good as I had hoped! I just had my first haircut at Circa Barber Shop yesterday with Martha and extremely happy how it turned out. Martha listened, asked questions, and offered great input as to how she could cut my hair. We had wonderful conversation and talked about the new location opening soon in Cottontown. Halfway through my haircut I met the other team members who seemed really nice as well. Even though the Main Street location is very small it was fun looking around the men's clothing store where the shop is located. Needed a new barber after just moving into the area so tried Circa. Great experience. Probably one of the best "first" haircuts I've received. Dominic did a great job and did what I asked and not what he wanted to do. He was also quick which made me nervous but he wasn't rushing. He was just fast. The staff was very friendly. I went to the Sumter street location and it's definitely the coolest looking barbershop I've been in. Definitely going back. FYI the pic with the flag in it isn't mine. Got it off their fb page. My girlfriend and I were walking around and saw the clothing store and decided to walk in. When we walked in, we saw that there was also a barber shop in the back of the store! As we were shopping, the owner of the shop asked if I wanted a free haircut, that way he could help train his new employee and show her some tips on the fade haircut. The customer service was amazing, and he helped give me the confidence to try a new hair style, which I now love! Amazing place, great stylist, and a professional atmosphere. DR is a master at his craft. I have been to a lot of barbers in the Columbia area trying to find a good cut with a slick fade. DR is a true professional with a passion for what he does- it shows in this work and his sharp eye for perfection. I came to circa after getting a haircut I was unsatisfied with a few days prior. I did not need a full cut just my hair to be cut a little more and to even out the choppiness from the last barber. I went to Savannah B and she did exactly what I wanted her to. In 5-10 minutes she fixed me up and did not even charge me and I really appreciated it. One time I scheduled an appointment with a barber who was not my usual Circa barber, but she had cut my hair once many months before. When I took my husband here we walked in I we were immediately greeted with some warm smiles which is always appreciated. The barber who did his hair ended up helping him choose a new style and hi seemed to like it a lot.
