I loved their collection of boutique fragrant soaps. They have many brands, many scents and many colors. The store always makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. This is a fantastic little local business that redefines the concept of "shopping small" by offering a wide array of locally made products - everything from handmade clothing to soaps and creams. The next time you have a present to buy for someone, the Purple Cow should be the first stop you make. Speaking of presents, they even have a section of birthday and special occasion cards, which makes it an easy one stop shop for all your gifting needs. While a lot of the inventory tends to lean toward the yogi-earthy-crunchy set, they have a great section of toys and stuffed animals for the young and young at heart, plus a whole lot of classy jewelry that's also made by local artisans. The Purple Cow is a must visit if you find yourself in Wakefield, RI, and need to purchase a memorable gift for a loved one, or simply just want to browse around a truly wonderful small local business!

It's a little store that has many unique handcrafted colorful jewelries and accessories. I came in…read morehere to get Christmas gifts for two close friends and found cute earrings (a deep purple teardrop stone earrings and a dangling cupcake earrings) that each catered their individual personalities. The jewelries are made from solid materials and the styles are very trendy and unique. Often times they will have a matching set of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Even adorable glitzy hair accessories! The customer service was great. I asked advice between two different earrings. And they gave me their honest opinion while being patient with my indecisive self. While shopping, I wanted to treat myself and get a pair of earrings too. I couldn't decide between two. As usual. I liked them each for different aspects. When they saw that I was torn between the two, they looked in the back to see if they had made anything with the merged specifications I was aiming for. Although they didn't quite find the exact things I was looking for they showed me similar jewelries that fit my style. Upon checkout the cashier placed my items with great care in a blue and white Spangles box and tied it together with a pretty blue ribbon. Will definitely stop by again if I'm ever I'm the area looking for a trendy, one-of-a-kind statement jewelry.

The owners are very helpful and welcoming. You're sure to find beautiful pieces that sparkle and glitter. It's a happy little store that leaves you bound to find a little gift for a loved one... or yourself! I can't seem to leave this store without buying something for myself. The turnover of pieces is good, too. You don't walk in feeling like you've seen everything before and it's been sitting on the shelf for months. It's constantly changing and fresh new pieces are added to their collection often. Overall, Spangles is a must stop and Main Street wouldn't be the same without beautiful, cared for shops like this gem.
