We stopped here recently to check out watches for my mother-in-law. She likes this family owned jewelry store as they greet and treat everyone like family. The majority of the staff are members of the founding family and they give a warm welcome to any customer that walks into the store, be a new customer or a repeat customer. Great service, great prices. read more

Nigrelli's Jewelry - My repaired Cartier bracelet. - Jewelry Near Me - Westerly, Rhode Island

I went in to have a chain shortened. They did it right then and there! While I waited for a few minutes, a few other customers strolled in. They seemed to know each one by name. A very friendly, attentive staff; quality workmanship; lovely items on display. read more

Thank you so much to Sandy & Sandy for such a wonderful experience for my 5 year old-who wanted nothing more than to get her ears pierced for her birthday. My daughter is a tough cookie, but I was nervous! The smile never left her face through the whole process. They were so kind and sweet to her that it made such a big day for us even more special! She even left with a little stuffed animal kitty for being so brave. I will be back for sure when my 9 year old decides she is ready for hers to be done. Highly recommend! read more

do not recommend!!!! Check the appraisals and their TRUE quality of diamonds. Double the price and quadrupled the appraisal. Taking advantage of people who are not educated on diamonds...disgusting read more

Friendly, honest service whether you're getting a watch battery replaced or you are buying diamonds.

Don't bring your watch here they tried to change the crystal. They were unable to do that and just told me they can't fix it. They gave me a slip that said "no longer water proof" The watch had to go back to Bulova anyway to replace the crystal (it was scratched) but I didn't notice the "no longer waterproof" note on the slip so I wore the watch and not knowing it was no longer waterproof I went in the water and now it took on water. It would have been nice for them to let me know that it was not waterproof, or to not have ruined it to begin with. Not cool at all. read more

I was in need of cufflinks for a wedding. I called them up and they said they have a pair of silver cufflinks they would hold for me. The service is good, and the cufflinks for a wonderful and the price. I've been using these folks for years with good luck. Always polite and very attentive. read more

A time honored tradition of service and trust. This family business is the best jewelry shop around. Their knowledge and talent can not be matched. A downtown Westerly icon, anything from engagement rings, graduation gifts to quality watch repairs, this shop has it. Recently had a Citizen watch, I received as a gift, resized no problem, they were happy to help. If it's something specific your looking for, or just trying to get ideas THIS is the shop. Thanks to Bobby and family, you always feel welcome. read more

Truly the nicest people work here. I walked in, without calling ahead, and had my jewelry fixed on the SPOT in minutes. I was shocked; I thought I would have to leave the item with them. This family owned store had a large selection, the whole family works there and they are all super nice. I recommend this place over any "mall jeweler," any day! Really nice, great customer service. read more

I've only been to Nigrelli's one time, but I think I would recommend it to everyone I know. I went in needing a few links to be taken off a new watch and walked out with a wonderful experience. The jewelry store contains a seemingly great selection of jewels and a welcoming/helpful staff. The cost to get my links out was $3-$5 and they did it right in front of me within 5 minutes. There was no waiting. While I was standing in front of the register I realized that my sterling silver claddagh ring had been split (but still wearable) for a few years now. I had never gotten around to having it fixed anywhere and asked the jeweler if it were possible. He fixed it and took the links out of my watch for under $20 and less than 24 hours. It's a family owned business and they know what they're doing. You can get jewelry fixed, welded, sized and buy some new jewels while you're at it! read more

I have to say, these are the nicest Jewelers you will ever deal with .. I would recommend this Jewelry store to anyone that has to have their fine jewelry sized, fixed or buy something new.. They try to work with you and I found them to be very generous and helpful.. Great customer relations and the girls there are awesome when you need help. They take their time with you and I enjoyed their time with me.. GREAT PLACE!!! read more

Friendly family owned service, expert jewelry repair is hands down the best around! Decent selection of jewelry, watches, and gifts for a small town store. Good price ranges. Clean and very easy to find what your looking for. Parking downtown is ok. read more

My watch got botched! All I needed were 2 additional links added. Mr N., took my watch, fiddled with it for 15-20 minutes and brought it back to me. He told me he couldn't fix it because the watch maker sent the wrong links. I was bummed but grateful. It wasn't until I got home that I realized he messed up my watch band. I brought it to a proper watch repair shop in NYC and they fixed it. Mr N, if you can't fix a watch because you're not use to a certain brand then don't fiddle with it & mess it up. read more

I worked with Nigrelli's on an upgrade on my wife's wedding ring and Nigrelli's was great to work with. I have also purchase a necklace and a couple of items for our daughter. Their prices have been great and their service has been excellent. Two Thumbs up! read more

I stopped in for a Christmas gift for my wife and was helped very quickly. I was shown a necklace that was perfect and unique. They made sure it worked for me and I could not be happier. My wife loved it too! I'll definitely shop here again. read more

I would give more than five stars if I could. I only use Nigrelli's for jewelry repair. I had a ring sized larger, I cannot see where the adjustment was made and the price was less than quoted. I had taken a ring to a well known chain jewelry store and the ring was lost in shipping. Nigrelli's does repair work on site. read more

DO NOT take your watches or jewelry to Nigrellis for sizing! They will break your jewelry and when you question them, they will tell you its too bad and they aren't replacing or repairing anything. Very unprofessional and the staff is very rude. I brought my expensive watch(which was a Christmas present) to Nigrellis to be fitted and they broke the links they removed so now I can never use them for replacements. When I questioned them about it, the salesman was extremely rude and told me too bad there's nothing they will do about it. So if you are thinking about going to Nigrellis with any jewelry that has meaning to you, please take my advice and take it somewhere else, Nigrellis will break and ruin it and they are very disrespectful. read more

While other local jewelers told me my ring resizing issue just "couldn't be done," Nigrelli's fixed my ring within a couple hours. The best jewelers I've ever dealt with, as well as the nicest customer service I have ever received anywhere. read more
