The animals here are genuinely cared for, cherished, and treated with so much kindness by the staff and volunteers. You can feel the compassion the moment you walk through the door. If you're thinking about adopting, fostering, or even just volunteering to walk some sweet furbabies, I highly encourage you to stop by. There was absolutely no friendliness--no smile, no "thank you," no "have a good day," and no sense that they were happy to have my business. The overall attitude came across as though customers are more of an inconvenience than people they actually want to serve. I understand that not every interaction has to be overly enthusiastic, but basic friendliness and appreciation go a long way, especially in a local business. I think it would benefit this business, considering they're about to have competition to put a friendly face behind the cash register. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Customers should leave feeling welcomed and appreciated, not like they were simply a burden to the people serving them.

We kept him for a week before we moved forward for a grooming appointment, to make sure he liked us and we were a good fit for him. We made an appointment for a week out and when we went in yesterday, they gave him a thorough "top to bottom" check out and helped us determine how we wanted him to be groomed. They were able to answer ALL of our questions, and, in fact, gave us info that we didn't even know we needed. When we went back to pick him up... we were AMAZED! He was so clean and groomed and looked just like his dog breed (couldn't tell before). We will continue to take our new boy to PETCO and recommend him to anyone who is looking for true professionals in the business. Thank you!

My dog is regularly groomed, and I've never had this issue with any other groomer. He was dropped off at 9 AM, and I received a call at 4 PM that he was ready--seven hours later! When I picked him up, his haircut was incomplete and uneven, yet I was still charged $110. This level of service is unacceptable. Petsense needs to provide better training or hire more experienced groomers. This is how my dog looked after leaving, totally unacceptable.
