So much that I always bring my out of town friends and family to shop for out-of- the norm but, fun souvenirs. There are so many reasons to love this adorable place- 1. The shop has fun New Mexico themed items like tea towels, shirts, cups, ornaments, candles, etc.... 2. Some of the items are funny and sassy and that's my kind of humor 3. The customer service is always welcoming and sweet. And the pricing is very reasonable.

Kim and her mom, Maria, are so passionate about their work and making women look phenomenal. I've seen the fabulous designs, clothes and shapewear that come out of this place. Decided to give this place a try and was incredibly happy with everything. First of all, it was easy to make an appointment online, and was given reminders by text. When I arrived at the shop JulieAnn was there to great me and could not have been nicer! She was super friendly and knowledgeable and understood exactly what we needed. And, the prices were very reasonable. Work was done in just a few days, and I had my shorts in time to enjoy the weekend! The shop itself is really cool. JulieAnn makes all kinds of fabulous clothes and masks and purses and bags. I'll post some photos so that you can see how nice her custom creations are! Overall, a five star experience!! If I ever need alterations again this is the only place that I would go!!

We saw the plants in the window, and they had the succulents we were looking for as well as other attractive house plants. As we wandered the store, we looked at the gently used women's wear (beautiful dresses, and unique jackets), books, and kitschy items that include items men (and women) would like for camping or traveling. As we checked out, we noticed some fun stickers. I bought one for my niece: " Cool Girls Care." The gentlemen who checked us out was personable and helpful. He told us his store had only been here a month. He also told us where our mural was located - around the corner! So glad we found it and this shop. Both were memorable!

If you are my age it's a trip down memory lane. For the younger generation, a look into the past. They even have lots of accessories for the clothing...jewelry, hats, shoes, ties, etc. Go ahead visit those thrift stores, but when you get tired of spending hours shifting through clothing get to Avengers. The Holiday Light Parade in Uptown…read more This is the best light parade I have seen in NM. Every year I have managed to miss this Abq event, and always tell myself that "next year I will go for sure." Well I finally made it and it was worth going to. I was worried about the park and ride. I know sometimes park and rides are a pain, but this one was actually quick, easy, and FREE. Many of the stores were allowing restroom use. There were local shops selling hot coco, and some were open for holiday shopping. There were a lot floats and characters that the kids love seeing like Star Wars, Micky Mouse, The Grinch, and Santa of course. My pictures don't do it justice, but we will be adding this to our list of local events that we don't want to miss. Getting back was a breeze because they had all the buses lined up waiting for us to go back.
