However, a sweet lady called me back that Sunday ,because of the message I left and the level of pain I was in. She was patient, attentive, and kind. She heard my concerns, and assessed my problem, and gave me the earliest emergency slot appointment available. Monday morning, I showed up in a terrible condition-tons of pain that I never felt in my life. This office was completely understanding. Sometime when your sick, and out in Public the way people act can make you feel worse, especially if they are inconsiderate, however this office was never ever like that! Each person in the office was kind and helpful, from the moment I walked in I was assisted. When I got back, Doctor Lapco was so attentive, and kind. He gave me a fist bump, and made me feel comfortable and welcomed despite my "Self-Pay" status. He was not able to take a culture thanks to the level of swelling of my ear, but thanks to him inserting a cotton for collection of the antibiotic I was able to finally feel the antibiotic effects, thus the healing process could begin. Without that, the swelling would have blocked the medications from really having any effected - like it did all weekend prior. When I left the exam room, the front desk staff was able to assist in setting me up a follow up appointment, and despite my financial situation they really worked with me. I had to come back to get rechecked but being that I already made my way to the Urgent care and was out a few hundred dollars to no avail in fixing this problem, they were understanding and helping me out by not charging me the follow up appointment. This came as a surprise to me when I called still in pain asking for guidance on what to do. Thanks to this doctor, and his staff I was all better in 1 full week. He gave me good advice on my follow up appointment to keep from having to come back, advice I intend to follow. Thank you Dr. Paul Lapco, and staff for all your consideration, speedy assistance, and kindness. I am forever grateful.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've had both with the doctor and the office. I was seen as a…read morenew patient last Friday and was seen for an ear infection and stuffy nose on the side of the ear infection which is all connected. I was told if the ear drops were too expensive to call back and they would call in sometime less expensive. Well today is Tuesday and still no drops with 3 calls made and given the run around. I paid my bill at the time of service and now have to go to ready care. Stay away from this place.

I've been a patient of Dr. Curtis Johnson for years. He's been wonderful & I have no complaints…read moreregarding him. However, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 I had an appointment at 1:30 pm. I brought an order with me from my primary which the front staff claimed didn't have valid codes. Dr. Johnson wasn't in so I was to see his assistant. They treated me horribly & caused me to have an Afib attack where my heart was beating uncontrollably. They still attacked me with verbal abuse; this is not like I'm a stranger off the street but a reliable patient. So if anyone out there knows of an office that doesn't treat you like a bum off the street, please let me know as I still need treatment & consider myself lucky that I didn't die right there by the front desk as I am 84 years old. In addition, they continued to badger & harass me & wanted to call an ambulance; this is after driving & walking in the extreme heat on that day. Most unconscionable treatment I've encountered with any medical front desk staff in my entire life.

My 2 year old son first saw Dr. Geller at Northwest Medical Center where he was hospitalized for…read moresevere tonsillitis. He was quick but professional and suggested a follow up appointment to see what his tonsils looked like when they weren't so infected. Like any anxious mother I googled Dr. Geller and became quite concerned after reading so many negative reviews. However, I kept my scheduled appointment after our son's primary pediatrician said such great things about Dr. Geller. Well, we just left his office and I must say, I am very pleased with the whole visit. The office staff was helpful when there was confusion about our referral and made sure the issue was resolved. We waited less than 10 minutes to see Dr. Geller and I was happy to see he even remembered our son. He was thorough in describing the medications my son was on and how they effected his tonsils and such. He was patient when my toddler threw a fit during the exam and made sure the whole process was quick as possible. I never felt rushed or ignored-Dr. Geller sat with us and explained everything clearly and was happy to answer any questions. And yes, some of the tools he uses were out dated, but they seem to work just fine so I didn't take any stars off for that. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Geller and if my son were to have issues again he will be my go to doctor.

I agree with Don A. from Fort Lauderdale. This guy needs to hang up his otoscope! In retrospect,…read moreour first clue should've been that we were able to get an appointment within a few days of calling... Our experience started with the receptionist/medical assistant thrusting a clipboard at us with forms to fill out, and immediately requesting our copay, (copay # 1), without so much as a greeting. When we were done filling out the forms, she proceeded to escort us to the "examination" room. (BTW, she appeared to be closing in on 80 and seemed dazed and confused.) When we walked into the "examination" room, I thought we were being punked. Talk about retro! It looked more like a torture chamber than anything else. Mom was shaking in her boots! And then the doctor walked in... OMG! This guy is 85 years old if he's a day! And he's a little bit wobbly. All he did was look into mom's ears and say there was nothing he could do for her without seeing the results from the hearing test we did a few days prior. Why didn't the receptionist tell us this when we called to make the appointment??? So, we had to go back a second time (copay # 2.) Same experience with the receptionist the second time around... She had a blank stare and requested our copay before we even had a chance to sit down. Then back to the torture chamber... After looking at the results from the hearing test, Dr. Stephen Geller said mom has severe healing loss. Really? We already knew that! Then again, he said there is nothing he could do for her, but if she's having vertigo, she needs to take the anti-dizziness medication regularly. Ah, we already knew that too! So now, mom will need to go to another ENT, (copay # 3), before she can be referred for a second opinion, (copay # 4), because her primary doctor will not consider Dr. Geller's opinion as a first opinion. He says many of his patients have complained about Dr. Geller's incompetence because he has diagnosed them as having nothing wrong at all, when they are clearing have serious issues. My advice... RUN... DON'T WALK... RUN THE OTHER WAY!
