I came here in the worst of pain. Sunday I called knowing that they were closed, I was not expecting anyone to reach back out to me until Monday, and for an appointment - probably even later. However, a sweet lady called me back that Sunday ,because of the message I left and the level of pain I was in. She was patient, attentive, and kind. She heard my concerns, and assessed my problem, and gave me the earliest emergency slot appointment available. Monday morning, I showed up in a terrible condition-tons of pain that I never felt in my life. This office was completely understanding. Sometime when your sick, and out in Public the way people act can make you feel worse, especially if they are inconsiderate, however this office was never ever like that! Each person in the office was kind and helpful, from the moment I walked in I was assisted. When I got back, Doctor Lapco was so attentive, and kind. He gave me a fist bump, and made me feel comfortable and welcomed despite my "Self-Pay" status. He was not able to take a culture thanks to the level of swelling of my ear, but thanks to him inserting a cotton for collection of the antibiotic I was able to finally feel the antibiotic effects, thus the healing process could begin. Without that, the swelling would have blocked the medications from really having any effected - like it did all weekend prior. When I left the exam room, the front desk staff was able to assist in setting me up a follow up appointment, and despite my financial situation they really worked with me. I had to come back to get rechecked but being that I already made my way to the Urgent care and was out a few hundred dollars to no avail in fixing this problem, they were understanding and helping me out by not charging me the follow up appointment. This came as a surprise to me when I called still in pain asking for guidance on what to do. Thanks to this doctor, and his staff I was all better in 1 full week. He gave me good advice on my follow up appointment to keep from having to come back, advice I intend to follow. instead of telling us he didn't specialize with throat issues, he sent for testing and told us to come back for a consult. , then sent us to yet another doctor to have to pay for a visit to another specialist, because throat issues was not anything he dealt with. read more

Today was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. I was kept on hold for the twenty minutes it took me to drive to the Sample Road office and actually arrived to their parking lot just when my call was finally answered. Then, I was treated very rudely by the front office staff who disagreed with my statement that their corporate policy of refusing treatment to established patients when they really needed them might be good business but was not good medical service. read more

Based on my current experience to include office visit, treatment from Dr. LAPCO, and dealing with the office staff in particular one girl, my honest opinion is as follows: Dr. Lapco did not keep his word, he never did one thing to start and complete the procedure he told me to schedule so he could, relieve a problem I've been having in my ear that he says will take all of 10 or 15 minutes. As a result of his refusal to speak with me and treat the problem, I have wasted time, spent money on tests, and used an unnecessary and not helpful medication that he gave me to use for two weeks, that according to the manufacturer, who I called and spoke to, I was told that the medication was absolutely not to be used for the problem I was experiencing. It is my intention to immediately file a complaint with the Florida board of medical examiners, and perhaps legal action after consultation with my attorney. Obviously there are further details, more than can be set forth in this venue. However, I will be inclined to share further progress in this matter with anyone who contacts me. The situation is so incredible, but I wonder if the doctor is even aware of the circumstances, and that the office girls one in particular are hiding the details from him. I can say without any reservation that Dr. Lapco is the best doctor I've ever dealt with in my entire life. He's been my ENT for several years now. Through his guidance, we tried different options to resolve my medical condition. We started conservatively and ultimately ended up having to do surgery. He operated on me and now, a few weeks later, I'm breathing and feeling better than I've felt in decades. My quality of life has improved dramatically. The man has been blessed with excellent hands/technique/mojo - whatever you wanna call it. When he scopes my sinuses, although it can be unpleasant (and has been at other ENT doctors in the past), he has such precision and skill that it is never bad at all. Never painful. He has an excellent bedside manner and you can see that he truly cares about making you feel better. What really shines about his practice is all the office staff. The ladies are proactive, responsive and involved in every step of the treatment process. I was completely bamboozled by this office. Made an appointment to have treatment for vertigo- waited a week and upon arrival was told I would have my hearing tested. Explained to them my appointment was made to address a problem with vertigo and they insisted I have my hearing tested first. Afterwards they let me know their facility doesn't even test for vertigo and that I would have to go somewhere else for that! From the minute I spoke to the lady handling the appointments Roslyn to the moment I left my initial visit, I couldn't be more pleased & satisfied. What an incredible group of professionals. They treat you as if you were part of their family. I had been waiting to find an EXCELLENT ENT specialist for years & I finally found one. The PA was also incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Coming from another Doctor Who I had no confidence in, Dr. Lapco gave me a quick fix to a ringing in my ears. The other doctor wanted me to sign on for $50 per week allergy shots. Dr. Lapco said to put drops of mineral oil in my ears for a couple of weeks. The ringing is gone. Thank you Dr. Lapco. You are the best. read more

I love Dr. Lapco and everyone in his office. I had the balloon sinuplasty procedure and wow....what a difference - completely night and day starting from day 1 of my procedure. Dr. Lapco and his staff took such great care of me from start to finish and I cannot sing their praises enough. I am so grateful and happy that I decided to go forward with the procedure. I'll admit the first week was tough but 100000000% worth it. I went from not being able to smell anything to finally being able to smell something as simple as the ocean breeze, the grass and even some funky stuff. Sleeping has improved too - it's nice to be able to lay down and actually still be able to breathe clearly. If you have even the slightest doubt - just let those doubts go and do it. I have never felt better, hands down the best decision (with a close tie to having my eyebrows microbladed -- that's another best decision story). I visited Dr Paul Lapco's office several months ago. I had laryngitis. I was seen by Melissa the PA on staff. I heard she was trained by Dr Lapco. She was professional, polite and seemed to know her business. She prescribed me medication but unfortunetely 3 weeks later I had to return to the office and see Dr Lapco himself. I had a stubborn case and just wanted the doctor's advise. I met Dr Lapco for the first time yesterday. He was polite, professional and caring. He gave me the advise I needed. Cudos to Dr Paul Lapco and staff. They are very pleasant to deal with. I will make this Doctor and their office my new home for any ENT related problems. 5 Stars for Dr Lapco and his team. read more

Called the doctor to make an appt. Nice lady said they could see me in a week. After taking all my information, she said i'll be seeing the physician's assistant because the doctor has other patients at my appt. time. I told her that I already had 2 surgeries on this ear and would not be comfortable with the physician's assistant, and that I would like to see the doctor. She said she'll talk to her office manager. Then came back and said: they are a giant corporation and have many offices. Because there are more doctors in their Boca office and since I already had two surgeries, they would be better equipped to treat me there. So I guess Dr. Lapco, who I called after a long search, and specifically based on good ratings on the internet, is not capable of treating a patient who has had 2 surgeries, or is not "equipped" to do so???
