People seemed to like them, I tried the lemon; There was a good lemon flavor, I wish it was a little more moist and a little less sweet. But I'm not much of a sweet tooth so maybe just me. I liked that it was easier than getting a cake; People could enjoy what flavor they wanted, no knives, forks or plates needed.

The cake also TASTED AMAZING, truly a delicious cake that was not overly sweet and also had the perfect texture. Not to mention, that every employee who answers the phone is always very helpful and and sound very happy! Any needed accommodations were met and I really appreciated that. All of this to say, I will definitely order from Yola again and I recommend their service to anyone looking for a custom cake!

Super cutesy vibe and pretty delicate desserts. Almost reminds me of Nothing Bundt Cake interior with merch, candles, gifts, flowers. I got the earl gray lavender cupcake and black sesame matcha Hojicha drink and lychee hibiscus tea drink. The cupcake was moist, not too sweet, had some grittiness to it from the seeds. Tasted the earl gray and lavender combo. It was delicious, I could have ate the entire thing but had to share the other half. There were a few tables outside but none inside.

To me, it tasted very similar to a flavored hazelnut latte from Starbucks. Even with reduced sweetness, it was still sweeter than I prefer and had a slightly artificial flavor. If you enjoy flavored Starbucks-style coffee, you'll probably like it, but it's just not my personal preference. I actually didn't finish my drink because the flavor wasn't for me. That said, the cashier was very sweet, and the dessert display looked beautiful and tempting. While the coffee didn't win me over, I'd still come back to give their desserts a try since they looked much more appealing than the drink I ordered. Overall, a nice spot with friendly service, but next time I'll be skipping the flavored coffee and trying one of the desserts instead.

The girl at the counter explained to me everything and answered all my questions in regards to the products. Bakery has a few tables inside if you want to enjoy your goodies. They had four type of gluten free breads, including a pretzel roll which I had never seen. They had a wide selection of Dairy free/Gluten free cupcakes. Amazing including a Lavender one! Looking forward to trying that one. I got all the types of bread to take home loaf, sandwich roll, sub and pretzel. I also purchased a few cupcakes to go. Tried the pretzel bread in the car. Wow! You would not know it was gluten free! They also do cakes to order. This is my new go to bakery!

Very cute inside, with some Strawberry Shortcake theme decor. Unfortunately first impression with the service was not very good. The person seemed very unenthusiastic, didn't smile, or seem welcoming. It's possible we just went on and off day. Since we were there I did get some of the mini cupcakes to try. One was a Snickers chocolate cupcake and the other was a Strawberry Shortcake cupcake. They both tasted good, but nothing really spectacular that I would have to go back for. The Snickers one tasted basically like a regular chocolate cupcake with a miniature sneaker placed on top. The Strawberry Shortcake one had some type of strawberry crumble on top which was good. I would say that was my favorite of the two. If you come on Tuesday they are $2 for the cupcakes, so something to keep in mind. They have a variety of other desserts and even drinks as well. They have caramel apples, Sundays, different cakes, Etc. If you're already in the mall it might be worth the quick peek to see if anything appeals to you. If anything just for a few cute photo ops.

The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. She responded quickly, accommodated delivery on very short notice, and somehow brought my vague vision to life perfectly. We were hosting a hibachi night with a Japanese theme, and all I sent her was a photo of our placemats with wave designs. She created two stunning Japanese wave cakes that perfectly fit the party's vibe. Not only were the cakes beautiful, but they were also HUGE -- and the cake itself was honestly some of the best we've had. Light, fluffy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. We ordered one chocolate and one vanilla at my twins' request, and both were amazing. Mary arrived right on time to our very hard-to-find Airbnb and was such a sweetheart throughout the whole process. The price was great. Unfortunately, we don't live in San Diego, or I would be ordering all my cakes from Mary, but if you do, I absolutely recommend Moochie Pops and Cakes for any special event!
