It felt like I was always given the most expensive option to service or repair my jeeps needs. I will not ever do business with Lopez auto service again. This last repair is what's lead me to this review. I went in because I got a check engine light for what turned out to be my exhaust gas recirculation. I was immediately told that I need a whole new part. No cleaning or inspection was done, just that I need a NEW part. Bought an OEM PART myself and took it to Lopez. They replaced it and even after it was replaced the same check engine light notification would come on. I was told to take it back "every time" it comes on. After a few times I got my car looked at by another mechanic, a large rubber cap was purposely placed somewhere inside of the system. Which caused the check engine light to continuously appear. The large unidentified rubber cap did not belong. Felt like I was scammed so I may continue to spend unnecessary $ here at this mechanic.

I bought this to her attention and she told me to go somewhere else and she refused to show me a reading of the volts and amps. They said it would be ready on Monday. We just had to order the O2 sensors (and ultimately put them in ourselves because they didn't come on time). Went right after work before they closed. They were pretty quick. Less than an hour, and we were out of there. 6 month warranty or 6000 miles through the shops and 5 years through the manufacturer Would recommend. They were quick, friendly and gave us a whole bunch of info (that I didn't necessarily listen to because I don't know anything about cars lol) that I appreciated and hoped my husband listened to lol.

Literally had to pay $20 to get out of that place for my own part.
