We stopped in this past Friday evening for dinner with some friends. We enjoyed the table side hibachi! We started with some soup and ginger salad which were tasty. I ordered the filet which came with fried rice and veggies as well. The fried rice was sooo good! The steak was also cooked to perfection.

I was visiting Nashville and Ninki was recommended to my friends. I want to first thank the server for being so chill and friendly. He was definitely helpful with deciding which rolls I ordered. I ordered the: Texas roll 7/10 Pizza roll 5/10 Butterfly roll 5/10 Yum yum roll 7/10 Crunch Larina roll 7.5/10 Hawaiian Roll 7/10 I wasn't impressed but not disappointed either. It may be my personal preference so I'd definitely recommend trying it. My friends did not care much for the hibachi but I did not try it.

It has been awhile since we ate at Ninki and I was in the mood for teppanyaki so we had dinner there tonight instead of driving all the way to Franklin to Shogun. First off, service was excellent. The 3 of us of order filet and scallops, filet and shrimp, filet and chicken and hubby ordered the Tennessee roll. Soup and salad were great and I like that they put a lot of the yummy ginger dressing. Hubby enjoyed the sushi roll and said he'd order it again. Our chef was funny and it was a great way to start the meal. Steak was delicious and I also enjoyed the chicken. The sauces made the dinner even better. Usually the fried rice is my favorite part and unfortunately it was just rice, egg and some sauces. I wish it had some veggies and butter as it was a bit lacking so I'd say that needs more work but aside from the rice everything else was delicious and I would definitely eat there again.

Came here with a group of 10 at 5 pm on a Sunday to have a fun meal before going to see a movie in the Green Hills area. They won't seat large parties until the whole group arrives, but luckily we arrived pretty quickly and they were able to seat us with no wait (particularly awesome because they don't take reservations.) The restaurant has a pretty decent sushi menu in addition to their hibachi, but most of us opted for hibachi only on this outing. They took our orders and served us miso soup and salad within our first 30 minutes of being seated, which felt right but is something to be mindful of if you are on a time crunch. The miso soup was a little lukewarm and only had a lone mushroom slice but had a great umami flavor. The salad had an excellent ginger dressing. The actual hibachi show was what I've come to expect of hibachi restaurants - the onion volcano, the crying egg, the heart rice, some tossed rice in folks' mouths. It was a fun show. By request, they made some of our fried rice spicy, which I would totally recommend for others looking for a bit of a kick in their meal. I opted for the chicken & shrimp hibachi and thought everything was perfectly cooked and enjoyed dipping my vegetables and meat in the yum yum sauce & ginger sauce they gave. Our tables' one small gripe was that the sauces overflowed in the dish they gave us and mixed together (which was a pleasant experience for me, as someone who likes mixing sauces, but wasn't what all in our group wanted. All in all, we had our appetizers, meal, wrapped up and paid in a little less than an hour and a half, which I think is pretty impressive for a large group outing (and was perfect timing for the movie we wanted to attend.) The waiting area seemed really packed as we were leaving, so I was really glad we got there so early & had no wait. Would totally come here again!

Nikki is always good. Not a lot of atmosphere but the food is delicious and consistent. The prices are very reasonable as well. The service is pretty good and it's fairly quick. Their servings are good, I usually have some left to take home. Their sushi is always fresh and delicious!

Our server was nice and made some great recommendations for food and drinks. We sat at the sushi bar but were looking forward to having hibachi next time we visit.

Our dinner at Ninki was a memorable one thanks to good food and a high-energy chef. Our hibachi dinner started with clear onion soup and a light salad with delicious ginger dressing. I ordered the chicken hibachi which of course came with a generous helping of fried rice and veggies -- zucchini, mushrooms, onions and broccoli. The service was a little inconsistent. We sat at the grill for quite some time before our drink orders were taken. But once the chef arrived and our waitress took our drink orders, things improved. Ninki doesn't reinvent the hibachi grill experience nor does it need to. The food is delicious and it makes for an entertaining dining experience.

Top tier spicy tuna sushi. Yes, I know that is specific, but I order spicy tuna everywhere and so far this is my favorite spot to order it for takeout in Nashville.

I've been coming here for years now and I always get great food and service! Recently I ordered their catering service for a dinner party. Everything turned out great and my guests finished everything!

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

Nashville became a clear exception to the rule, delivering a world class, contemporary steakhouse experience into Nashville's more traditional steak scene. Yes, the views are remarkable. Yes, the design of the interior is elegant. But, those criteria would never be sufficient to rank an establishment as world class... Egyptian born celebrity chef Michael Mina has unquestionably become a restaurant mogul at this stage in his career and winning two Michelin stars in his flagship San Francisco restaurant. Expanding into Nashville, he did something truly extraordinary: creating a modern steakhouse concept that delivers on par to the best traditional steak joints of America, but with unique twists and in a special atmosphere. Set in the middle of the dining room and facing the bar. The bar can seat at least 25 people, the restaurant is set up for fun. To get our party started, I ordered a well crafted cocktail: Tea'd Up Old Fashioned Made with Bourbon, Black Tea and House Barrel Aged Bitters. Funky?? Oh yeah I'm with a bunch of Military Veterans and they're telling me their crazy stories. I'm sippin' my Old Fashioned and taking it all in, we need to bond over drinks and crazy things we all drank overseas. As an adult, I can appreciate my Nashville TN Old Fashioned with Black Tea. Next, my Gumbo comes to me. The first taste I can tell this is a chef'd up dish. Better than anything I had in New Orleans. This gumbo is filled with Andouille, Crawfish, Shrimp and Fried Okra. Very flavorful indeed. My last entree in Nashville will be Fish 'N Grits. Fresh fish topped with Spicy Tasso Ham over Sweet Potato Grits and Bacon Braised Cabbage. The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!
