Ninja Japanese Express - Amazing come try it out five stars - Teppanyaki Near Me - Fort Smith, Arkansas

Their Hibachi is very good~ We had the Steak Hibachi & the Shrimp Hibachi, both with fried rice and vegetable medley. Each of the Combos came with a roll (A California roll and a Philadelphia roll) however; we did not like the rolls because they weren't COLD, they were slightly warm. That was very disappointing! The Combo prices included a drink; which was nice. I would probably eat here again, but I won't have the Sushi rolls. read more

Always delicious food but eating inside was a mistake. It's not very cozy inside. Just the bare minimum of welcoming. Chairs are super uncomfortable. We always enjoy our food but don't enjoy the space. read more

This is a good restaurant on the avenue for fast food in a coldly and convenient location. It's nothing fancy but the food is quite good.

Food is always fresh. We eat there about every two weeks or so. Never any issues on missing items or poor quality.

Had amazing food as always and the prices are some of the best, always friendly and the combos are a lot of food for a great price

We tried the ramen and a few sushi rolls. Everything was amazingly good and fresh. Staff was super nice and helpful Clean intimate location Gotta come back to try the Ninja Specials!!! By far the best around read more

Food was way below average. Sushi did not seem fresh at all. Fried rice was not fresh. Shrimp was overcooked and spongy. Tables were dirty with food on the floor. read more

Hmm I am from out of town and thought I would try the local ramen. The ramen was just ok nothing to write home to. The egg in the ramen was a hard boiled egg which usually it's a soft boiled seasoned egg that should be in there so that was off. The service was ok . Everything just felt ok I don't think I would eat here if I came back. read more

I was very skeptical eating here bc of the 3.5 stars I saw on Maps..... this place is AMAZING!!!!! The food is SO fresh. I ordered the bang bang shrimp (SUPER fresh plump shrimp), the super crunchy roll (fabulous), the firecracker roll (also fabulous), Ninja poppers (SO GOOD). Everything was so good. I can not believe they have 3.5 stars. I ordered thru DoorDash and had it delivered to my hotel. Even being delivered, super fresh, crisp and amazing. Definitely give them a try if you are in town! read more

Ninja Japanese Express - two take out containers of food - Teppanyaki Near Me - Fort Smith, Arkansas

Meh.... Honestlly I will not be back. Wanted udon and sushi. Tried this place. Finding good sushi this area is hard. This is not good sushi or udon. Ninja doesn't feel like a sushi restaurant. More like a everything place. Not a big deal just an observation. Udon was bland and milky. Barely any noodles. Rolls skimpy on fish and avocado. Salmon had slight fishy smell. Taste meh. Added a lot of wasabi and it was ok. Price kinda high for what you get. Did not get sick. Grocery store sushi is better in this area. I'm not joking. If you have a hankering for sushi just go to the grocery. read more

When a Sushi/Sashimi House doesn't carry standard normal cuts of traditional sashimi, I get suspicious. When they also have crappy service, even on my first visit, I simply never return. But, my wife and I wanted Sashimi/Nigiri and they were out of Tako, Hamachi AND Toro. W.T.F.??? And you want to be thought of as a higher end sushi house in your area, you need to do better. It's been a few months now, and I haven't any inclination to give them a second chance. Had it been just bad service, OR lack of stock, I'd be inclined to give them a second chance. read more

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was served fast. The taste of the food was ok.

I've only tried the sushi and the ramen, and boy were they each yummy-- keeps me coming back again and again!!

One of our favorite sushi spots! They are friendly and the food is wonderful. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

I love what this owner is trying to accomplish here. She has a vision to bring hibachi, sushi and ramen to you in a set down environment which functions in a fast food paced world. You can get a great meal in no time flat. I strongly suggest you try them! Great use of this old Long John Silver building. read more

I arrived in town and just didn't feel like going out. This place delivered in about 45 minutes. I started with the Squid Salad which was huge. Mixed with cucumber and sesame seeds. The main dish was a Spicy Tuna roll and Great spicy spider roll. If a place cant do a good spicy tuna roll, forget about it. They did okay. The spider roll had the right amount of spice and soft shell crab. Oh yeah. Very crispy and flavorful. I'll be back! Have a Yelptastic evening! read more

My favorite sushi place in town! The Hollywood role and the noodles are THE BEST! Super fast service and always so nice, as well.

The steak and shrimp hibachi is always a great choice as well as flaming razorback extra spices

I used to go to Saké in downtown Fort-Smith a LOT. When Saké closed down, I was put on a life-resetting quest to find another top-tier sushi place. About two years on my quest, I found this place. Idk how I got here. Probably some old friends or someone I went on a date with. Idk. But I've returned so often that it's become my go-to. There's a waiter/waitress who works here who used to seem pretty dry and almost rude. It almost made me give up on this heaven-hole, but then I saw some of the rude, entitled, and awful customers that they had to deal with. They eventually came out of their shell and they're one of my favorite employees there. If you're expecting some HIGH PRICE "my marriage is failing so I'm taking her to Saké" spot, you're at the wrong place. This is just a locally-owned secret spot that's sacred to a lot of people, like myself. Also, never any murderous bowel movements after, so that's a plus! No Tums needed. Just Gold-Bond for the chafing you'll do trying to sit down in the booth if you're tall like me and buy underwear that are way too tight for your own good (or you just haven't bought new underwear in years bc you live on a tight budget.) Not that I ever experience that or qualify for any of that read more

Food from ninja express is always good. Went inside to eat and was disappointed with the vibe. Was very dark inside. Every time I order hibachi steak I never get it cooked how I like (medium). Good sushi ! read more

This may be the only location in Fort Smith to have a really good and authentic Japanese food and drinks. I have ordered their ramen noodle and it was delicious (my first time or tasting ramen in a very long time). Previously, I also order their fried rice and few sushi rolls that were great too. Their menu price is reasonable for their sushi and main dishes as well. read more

We've been eating here ever since they opened their doors four plus years ago and I will never step foot in there again. Their customer service has always been lacking, but I've always overlooked it in the past. Today was the final straw. I was overcharged for my meal. The meal that I ordered is handwritten on their specials sign, but I was overcharged exactly $1. When I asked for a receipt, she only wanted to give me the credit card receipt. I had to specifically ask for a receipt showing the breakdown. While it's only $1, I have a feeling that this happens quite often considering their lack of giving out proper receipts. I would HIGHLY suggest that anyone who chooses to eat here in the future requests a true receipt and to double check every charge. In addition, the music that they had blasting from the speakers was highly offensive. I'm not talking about a few curse words. It was literally every other word and was the most offensive song I've ever heard in my life. When I mentioned something to the young lady at the register, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I just show up for work and this is what's playing". I realize that it's not her fault, but a man and woman, who I'm assuming are the owners or related to the owners (they both have rang me up at the register before) just stood there and didn't even attempt to apologize or suggest that anything would be done differently. Another customer standing next to me agreed and said the music was too much. Her daughter was a teenager but they didn't appreciate it either. I've taken my 7 year old into the restaurant on multiple occasions and I've recommended it to many, many people over the years, but they'll never see me enter their store again. I understand that owners can choose what music they want to play in their businesses, but I also get to choose where I spend my money. read more

First, ordering sushi via Grubhub and having it delivered to your hotel room is always a crap shoot. You just never know. I was craving sushi and feeling lucky while on a recent business trip, so I ordered from Ninja Express mostly based on it's proximity to the hotel and the reviews weren't horrible. No one had died so I figured I would give them a shot. The order arrived within the time frame given after I ordered. The seaweed salad was exceptional and there was a lot for a small order. It was the best part of the meal. The Arkansas Roll had a weird texture. The wrap was almost rubbery. Not a fan. The sushi combination platter I ordered was pretty forgettable. Run of the mill rolls with little flavor. I also only received two packets of soy sauce. Not nearly enough. Overall it was edible but mediocre. I won't do it again. read more

Driving through Fort Smith from Texas and ran into this place- Ninja. Great food and customer service. Quickly prepared our meals and to our surprise...IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Great job!!! read more

This place is great and you can't beat the price! The sushi was food And so was the ramen. 10/10

I just ate lunch with my mother and father at this restaurant. It was my first time eating here. I have eaten a lot of sushi from a lot of places. This restaurant has some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. I base all of my sushi experiences on the spicy tuna roll. If they can't make that good I'll never go back. However, this place made it the best I've ever had. I also had the shrimp tempura roll and it was fantastic as well. The customer service is great. The atmosphere is OK. But I'm not going there for the atmosphere. We had seven rolls and a couple of drinks and we're out in less than $40. If you are in the area and have a hankering for sushi, I strongly recommend this restaurant. read more

Ownership of Ninja must have changed since the last time I was there. Before, the California rolls has pieces of crab and the Asparagus rolls were battered and deep fried. Today, the California roll I got had a mush of crab-like mixture the thinnest slice of avocado, rice and nothing else. The asparagus roll was raw asparagus wrapped in rice and seaweed. Nothing else. Made me wish I had taken the time to drive across town to Asuka. Will not be going back to Ninja Express. read more

I ordered 3 hibachis (and other stuff) for me and my friends and they gave me 2 for take out. Got home and noticed and called them. They said we only ordered 2 (looking at my receipt thats wrong). Go to Shoguns. Better quality for better price. Are able to follow instructions and are significantly more experienced.

Super good, eat it every time I come to ft smith. The rice is amazing and the sushi is equally as amazing.

This sushi was delicious and well priced. What more can I ask for? Because if I'm gonna get sushi those are pretty much my only requirements. For the price it was ten times better than other, fancier, places downtown. read more

On the fence here...I was wanting Japanese and should've known the word "express" really meant "express"...this is like fast food Japanese. I mean, you walk up to the counter and order and pay, then they bring it to your table. Its served on Styrofoam. But it's actually not bad at all. Its not amazing or anything to write home about, but my expectations weren't high when I saw the counter and then the Styrofoam. Prices were decent. I had a California roll, a steak hibachi lunch and a soda and it ran about $13. Here's my main complaint: I went into the women's bathroom at the same time the guy who took my order went to the men's bathroom. The walls were thin so I could hear everything; he used the bathroom and never washed his hands. I walked out and he also walked to the front of the counter and began to wait on more customers. I had already eaten, and he didn't actually prepare food while I was there, so I guess it wasn't a big deal....still, a little off-putting. read more
