Plus I Thought I was clear with his translator that I didn't want a military haircut. So after the Barber did what he thought I wanted I went to "PAY" I told the lady I wasn't happy and insisted she take their payment so I could be on my way. At this point someone with what seemed to be "authority" came to the counter and insisted I was saying I didn't like the cut because I didn't want to pay...!!?? Mind you, as I mentioned earlier, I insisted they charge my card so I could be on my way. But no. Not only did he say I didn't want to pay, he also said he didn't care what I say.....!! And then asked how come I didn't say anything before!? (Hmmm, I don't speak Spanish) do I really have to walk you through a haircut, after your translator seemed to have covered that. At this point I paid the $30.00 PLUS the "credit card fee" of $4.00! For the WORST experience in Wappingers Falls.

I explained to him the simple haircut I wanted, one and a half all over with a skin fade. Nothing crazy. I explained and explained. We finally had to have another barber, much older and more confident come over and fix what the kid was doing. This took forever though because the other guy was busy. I would say this establishment may be worthy of more than 2 stars if you can effectively communicate in espanol, but it was a long & frustrating experience for me.

The prices have nearly doubled since the last time I was in about two years ago. $45 for a wash and blow out and no option for her to curl the ends like I prefer since they do not have curling irons. A salon without a curling iron? ODD. I did not ask for a round brush but I am Soum that's what she would use to blow out my hair. Unfortunately, the plastic brush that she used did not allow for any lift which is what I went in there for. ALSO lost another star because the cost of a wash and blow-out seems very excessive for this area. The Stylist gets a solid 4 stars for professionalism.

When I questioned them they said a wash and set was $20, to blow it out after was after $14- which wash and set come with blowing in any salon in the world! They charged her $24 to cut her ends which was absolutely horrible, then $15 to do a hot oil treatment in which I supplied the oil and leave in conditioner from my home! They then charged my child without telling her the price for butchering her hair! She is still crying! Ridiculous

I thought she was kind but when I received my bill at the end of my service I was disgusted. I paid my bill and gave a good tip because I'm a person of integrity. I was hoping I would be saving a bit of money by giving this place a try when my actual salon is a high end Aveda salon. The place is dirty looking and run down. Nonetheless my hair didn't come out too terrible but it smells like a bathroom perfume spray. Feels a bit irritated on the scalp. I don't absolutely love it as she insisted I would.
