The staff is very kind and attentive - always asking if we need anything else and if the food is to our liking. The inside of the shop is a little small, but they have enough tables for a few groups to be able to eat in. We always get the carne asada and al pastor tacos. The meat is tender, crispy, savory, and overall cooked very well. The rice and beans are a great side to add as well. You have the option of hot or mild salsa, and the mild adds great flavor while the hot has great flavor and heat. Prices are a bit high and from my experiences, sometimes your order isn't accurate. But the flavors and freshness are the best in the area. We were going to eat it on the road but when we walked in noticed the counters with stools so we sat down and ate in restaurant. They also had tables as well. Let's talk about amazing comfort food. Nina's is the place. From the minute you walk in you just know you're in for a great treat. It's small and cozy. You can sit at the counter or at the few tables they have in there. The Mexican food is authentic and so delicious. Always go with authentic Mexican if you can. I was by myself today for a change, and I'm greeted at the front door with a sign that says $10 minimum purchase with credit card. You are out in the middle of nowhere. Hmm, Well they are new. I won't be doing a review as much as I will be writing a few things they could do to improve. 1. I think that the tortillas should be home made, and much smaller. The ones served were crumbly and didn't work well. They were simply too big. 2. Tacos should be cheaper with less meat. People will care more about price then amount of meat. Authentic Mexican tacos are traditionally smaller anyway. 3. Cilantro needs to be chopped finer. 4. Red hot sauce needs to be spicier. It was good, but not hot enough. 5. Al Pastor should be cooked in front of guests so that smells radiates all around. 6. Accept Credit Card ASAP! 7. Sell water. 8. Have someone hold a sign. 9. Sell chips and salsa for guedos. 10.
