I have long loved the area and have stayed in lots of homes on vacation, but I did not know exactly where I wanted to be. After seeing how dedicated Darci was to helping my mom find her house, I was excited to work with her for my own. My mom has not bought a home for over 35 years and was relatively new to the process since it had been so long. Like my mom, we were buying from a different city and that can be tricky when you don't drive past a spot everyday. Darci was so patient with us both and so knowledgeable about all the areas in Palm Desert, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. Not only did she struggle to sell our house, she was condescending and her lack of communication was an issue. She offered to help my family find a place to live as we were interested in only looking for mobile homes but she kept trying to get us to purchase a home we did not want in areas that we felt were unsafe, but it seems like she only wants her commission and doesn't care about our wants and concerns. She connected us to her lender and told us we were denied for a mobile home loan but approved for a home loan. Due to us not really trusting what Ana says at this point, we decided to work with another realtor to find a place and with no surprise, we were approved for a loan and found a great place in a great community. Back to the sale of our house, please make sure to read the contract and don't skip details because Ana tried to get more commission than what we had agreed on.. we had to have her send us an updated copy with the correct amount. We had 7 days after escrow closed to move out of our house and Ana tried to get the keys the day before we move out knowing we needed the time, then tried to rush us to give over the keys the day of the move even after telling us we had all day to pack and move. We had an amazing experience with the realtor that helped us find a place but Ana is definitely not one you want to go to. Please look elsewhere and save yourselves the trouble.

Time after time so over promised and under delivered. She went so far as to tell me to go start cleaning the house when we had not even signed loan documents. The last straw was when we went to her office to ask about the $5,000 earnest money we "lost" when the loan (from the lender she recommended) fell through. One weekend Maria, said she was going out of town. Funny we saw here at a local hot spot. Please don't misunderstand, everyone deserves time off but just be honest. All she had to say was that she was off for the weekend and that would have been sufficient. Maria's behavior was abhorrent and unprofessional to say the least. She side stepped every question and lied straight to my face. When my sisters walked out she followed them to the parking lot getting up in my sisters face like some kind of Neanderthal. Not to mention that she called me sister white trash, who by the way is a very fair skinned Latina. This all culminated in front of my three year old niece. Understandably so, that was the end of our working relationship. In the end we got our money back from the seller because we followed proper channels and got the help of a very kind honest agent, Jose Espinoza. Props to Jose and his staff who are professional and honest!!!!! We are now back on track to finding a great home for our little family.
