The office itself is badly in need of renovations along with updating all of the equipment. It is old, uncomfortable, and creepy in there. When I asked them to please email my X-rays and records to me they told me that the records they keep are not digital including X-rays. They are still taking them with film. What isn't digital these days! I had to basically start all over again when I left this practice. They also were not able to help me with an issue I was having and told me there was nothing that could be done about it. The new place I go now, has since helped me with fixing that same issue. I tried this dentist because it was in a convenient location, but there are plenty of dentists in Plainview and the surrounding areas. I am sure all of them have to be more modern than this place. Don't waste your time there!

The hygienist Jessica was great, she gave me a lot of time answering all my questions and explained what i needed in detail. She was Awesome!! Last but not least Dr. Zena was also great, he also talked to me and gave me time instead of rushing me out, I really appreciate that as it seems most places do that, your just a number, but at Babylon Smiles your much more than that, they really care about their patients and it shows in the great staff. The staff has been friendly and professional, and the office still runs very smoothly. Recently I started Invisalign treatment here after having a not-so-great experience with an orthodontist at another office. Dr. Alex has been very responsive to my questions and took the time to make adjustments based on some concerns I had during the process. That kind of attention and willingness to listen really made a difference. I called in December to confirm my cleaning is covered or I will wait 2 weeks and book in January with the insurance I was assured xray and cleaning were covered Upon my return in January, I was told I have a $200 balance, and the cleaning was not covered Strike 1. The xray showed a small cavity under an old filling and would cost 20 to 40 dollars After the work was done I was unable to eat on the side due to discomfort/pressure. I returned the next week, he took an xray and said I needed a root canal, handed me the business card of endodontist Strike 2 He told me to return so he could but the crown on. In all my years never had a dentist refer me out for dental work , Strike 3 I asked why he does not do root canals, the receptionist said he's to busy and I owe another 40 dollars, making the filling +$80 Summary I had no pain, he filled a cavity, left me in pain, handed me a card and charged more money. I'm out a couple of hundred dollars and looking for a new dentist.
