Turns out she was right - food was really tasty, the dishes have been slightly Australianised ;) but the meal was excellent! My friend raved about the honey prawns and rainbow beef - they were both good dishes! Generous sized portions and the service was attentive. A nice family atmosphere and the night we dined the restaurant was busy. Since then I have been back in a large group of 20 with the girls and they offer a set menu for $35 which was served quickly without fuss in the upstairs room which impressed me. Fellow Asians may question the $ as it is a little more than we are used to paying but I say for the location - its one of the best Chinese in the area. They offer majority of your traditional dim sums and carts frequently pass by (this can depend on where you're sitting though). I've been here for dinner too, but I find their Yum Cha to be better. It's not that their dinner is bad, it's just that it quite standard and average. In a suburb where one can find ample Chinese restaurants, average sometimes just isn't good enough. That said, if you have a large group- then this place could easily accommodate you. It has a large dining area with big round dining tables at the back. Overall I would suggest Imperial Kingdom only if it is local to you, I wouldn't go out of way to eat here- but if I'm in the area, I'm more than happy to.

I didn't accept it, and instead sent him back to collect the correct meal. Then the app sends me a notification to say that the restaurant has cancelled the order. Then I call the restaurant, and the person answering the phone (who spoke perfect english until he realised what I was calling about) pretended not to be able to speak english. I called back, and he finally took the call and told me that they could still do the meal, but I would have to call the delivery company personally and ask them to send a driver, and that I would have to pay an additional delivery fee again. Eventually 2hrs later we got our meal, which was cold. The 'meat' dishes had about a 1:10 ratio of meat to massive basically uncut and undercooked vegetables. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!
