My grandparents choose to come here for every birthday and occasion, and while at first I was skeptical, I have been converted. As a vegetarian, choices are usually down to an omelette or fried rice when it comes to some Chinese restaurants. (Even if you do get the fried rice, chances are you'll find prawns in it.) Knowing this from experience, I was glad to see a really good range of Bead Curd options, and when I spoke to the host, he ensured me I could order anything off the menu and they would make it vegetarian. I recommend the Tofu & Mixed Vegetable Satay. Served with rice on the side, this is a tantalizing dish that recently won 4 vegetarian diners over when we were there.
