My hair is pretty crazy - a thick, curly, knotted mess. Most of the time, hairdressers really mess it up- they either take too much off or they just can't get the layers even. Once I even had to brush it out cause the girl couldn't deal with it (actually, she was yapping with the guy in the chair next to us so long that my hair pretty much dried while she was talking and that's when all the trouble starts). Anyway, this lady was great and didn't have any problems at all and had me trimmed up in no time! It wasn't my first time going here - actually brought my daughter last month, and have come here from time to time over the years. Actually, my mom loved this place and went here for many years before moving about five years ago. Anyway, after all the problems I've had at some of the surrounding cutteries, I am definitely going to stick with this one from now on. And you really can't beat it for the price!

Maybe if you go to the two or three people listed specifically in these reviews you wouldn't come out looking like this. However, I wasn't so lucky and unfortunately will not be returning. Trim was okay at best but I have long hair so you can't really notice any inconsistencies unless you're really inspecting. Also, my hair was only half blown out when the stylist showed me the final product and said, "I know it's a little frizzy right now." Really?!? If it were blown out properly with the proper products, it wouldn't have been "frizzy." Oh and last but certainly not least, my face mask was ruined as well - the stylist got dye all over the ear loops. I understand this may be hard to avoid but I feel like I should've had a warning before she just slopped dye all over it. After all, I had disposable masks in the car that I could've easily used instead. It seemed like my stylist had minimal/no prior experience. If you could take anything from this review, if you're going to this salon, ask for a specific stylist that has prior awesome reviews. :)

Didn't get an answer so waited an additional 5 mins and called back. This time I got someone on the line that advised they were in the salon and I informed them I had been there waiting outside since 8:50 for a 9am appointment. I was asked whom I was getting serviced by and I couldn't remember the name but my service. The young lady told me who the stylist was but that she wasn't in yet and offered to call the stylist to check on her arrival. I was called back so that I could get washed and conditioned as the stylist was traveling to the salon. Pause: in a service industry, a paying client is NEVER to wait for a stylist to arrive. This stylist was over 30 mins late in the end. Not a good first impression in addition to waiting in my car for employees to arrive. Ending. My hair looked beautiful. However service took 5 hours for a sew-in of 2 bundles. Not the best timing on any day.
