Even though the slots clearly had a personal vendetta against me, we still had a great time and will probably be back (because hope springs eternal when it comes to casinos). They seem to be understaffed at times, too. Dealers are pretty competent and friendly. Senior poker room management works hard to do a good job. Some floor-persons are better than others. Rules are more restrictive than many rooms across the country - no phones laying on the rail/table/active call, can't sell someone chips that aren't in play, can't eat in the room. What really eats me is that when you are playing a time-rake game, were planning to leave after that down, and you play a blind - if it happens that the dealer change occurs in between your BB and button, you can't play out your button for free and leave. Rooms are spacious and modern with windows overlooking stunning ocean views. Waking up to that blue water every morning felt unreal. Dining has lots of options ranging from Nobu to casual spots. The famous Atlantis water park is full of kiddos sunlike the cove but to not go on the iconic Mayan Temple waterslide would be a huge mistake. This waterslide has two sides, a slow tube float or a high speed huge drop and the best part about it is that they go through a real shark tank! When you're on the tube side you get to really enjoy your views and watch the sharks swimming by in awe.
