We make the drive from Kansas City to Chicago about twice a year and this place is a must stop each time. I don't usually have much luck in the women's section (although they do have a great selection of sports bras, leggings, etc.), but the men's area is a gold mine for me. If you are a small man (or a woman who likes the comfort of men's sweats), this is the place for you. Everything is always nicely organized and it's very easy to find the color and size you want. This is definitely a hidden gem as I would imagine the population of Williamsburg, Iowa isn't that large, it's probably just folks on road trips, like myself, who pop in here. read more

I had to wait in a line outside to gain access inside the Nike Outlet at this location. I fully understand the reasons why and of all the stores, this was the only place that had a line to gain entry. Once you were allowed inside, there are lots of great clothes for both men and women with decent discounts. I like the golf gear, especially the shorts. I choose not to buy shoes but like the discount discontinued racks that can provide a steal of a deal if you happen to see your size. Parking is plentifulcand everyone is safely social distancing. They have an ok selection of clothes and shoes. Last time I came in I found a few pairs of shoes I liked for a reasonable price. This time I found a nice running shirt but I was rung up for a higher price. Which, the worker had to look up and then give me a refund. I like that they offer a military discount but no one offered to help me or my sister find anything, maybe it was an off day for the employees but no one seemed to friendly here. read more

Recently I stopped in to make a return for my sister-in-law...I thought it would be uneventful. However, Nike doesn't store your credit card information. No big deal, right? Wrong. I live an hour west from the store. My sister-in-law lives an hour plus east of the store. And even though the item was unworn, with receipt, the "store policy" and computer systems are set up for the credit to be charged back to the original credit card or a store credit... Enter supper smart and thoughtful manager: Who was able to create a work around and gave me CASH! And while she may have saved me a return trip, I definitely will be back to shop the store in the future. read more

Shopping with Boyfriend is like a hostage crisis. The risks are serious and if you rush in, the consequences dire. You do not under any circumstances open negotiations by offering a sports car, illicit favors or bodily harm. I've tried that and you can't even get him to try on shoes, much less go into (gasp) a fitting room to try on pants to find his size. However, say Nike- even in the middle of a 10 hour road trip- Boyfriend is giddily willing to find parking, leash up our Baby Beagle and meet with Brenda (the nicest, most awesomest, Beagle-loving saleswoman ever) to try on multiples and be asked by the masses where he got those pants, those shoes, the hot girlfriend (ahem) and adorable beagle. Stopped in here last weekend to do some shopping after the Iowa game. Place was jammed packed with people but plenty of employees greeting and asking for help. Morgan was one of the first to greet us and she went above and beyond. From assisting with sizing to getting a knot out of a shoe lace, she gave us 5 star service! We talked to the manager to give kudos and he had mentioned she was new to the store. Only reason that I don't give 5 stars is due to our experience at the register. We had been holding merchandise up front, but not behind the counter, so we could go back and forth. When we went to grab our stuff to check out, one of the employees asked what we were doing and that we couldn't just take random stuff. My husband mentioned that this was our "stuff" and that we had spoken to someone in keeping a pile up toward the front until we were ready to check out. In checking out, employee decided it was best to manually use the handheld checkout device, which I believe is great for small purchases to verify pricing. I had asked him if he was sure prices matched boxes and he claimed everything was correct. He whispered my total to me while the line grew. My fault in not stopping him then when I thought pricing was a bit off, but with the place getting busier and his annoyed attitude, I thought it might be best to go and I would figure out pricing in the car. In looking at my receipt, he overcharged me on 9 items. We called and talked with Devin, who was excellent! He had mentioned that green tags have to be manually adjusted. I explained that we were out of town and he had made a note to go to another location to get a price adjustment and if they had an issue to call him that evening. We did the adjustment later that evening with no issue, thank you WDM location! My only suggestion would be to avoid the handheld with large purchases. I would assume that the employee was rushing. Definitely will be returning to this Location based on Devin and Morgan making our experience great! Thanks again! read more

We stopped at the Nike outlet at the Tanger Outlet mall in Williamsburg Iowa. There were signs all over the store stating that ALL short sleeve shirts were an additional 40% off. They did not say anywhere "except for golf polo shirts". The cashier evidently also thought they should be 40% off because she asked a male also working without any prompting from me. We were then spoken to so rudely by the male clerk that we were absolutely shocked!! He rudely stated that the sign is for the shirts to the right of the sign not the left like we should have known that. My daughter told him he didn't have to be a jerk about it and he then went on a rampage. We left all of our merchandise we were going to purchase on the counter and walked out. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially when it was his own coworker who questioned it in the first place. Great customer service there Nike, we will never be back. read more
