Horrible customer service. I wanted a pair of sunglasses that only cost $10 and they proceeded to ignore me. They had 4 workers and only 1 was checking people out while the rest were doing nothing. read more

I do have trouble with fit on some items here. Jeans never fit quite right and some of the shirts feel pretty boxy. I have good luck with sweaters/cardigans (they have tons of good colors and patterns), skirts, sandals, accessories and occasionally dresses but again, the fit doesn't seem to have as much care put into it as a non-outlet GAP. Still a great place for wardrobe basics, especially with the emailed coupons.

When I returned to the counter with some things I wanted to buy, that specific manager was gone and the one filling in for her, Megan, very rudely told me that I couldn't. The same associate ( who had the personality of a turnip) who had helped the previous manger would not confirm it, so I was out of luck. Had they been polite it would not have been a problem, but they were so rude! None of the employees bothered to even make eye contact, much less say "hello" or "have a nice day". As a result of this poor experience I will no longer shop at any Gap store from here on out- or any stores affiliated with it, such as Banana Republic or Old Navy. I guess it is just too hard to hire people who will treat customers like human beings. ~ Emily

I asked her a question and just then an employee Erica yelled at her to put her mask back on. I was less than a foot away from my child and she had her mask down for less than 30 seconds. We also were the only ones in the store at the time. When checking out, I addressed my issue with how the matter was handled with Erica. She first stated that food and drink was not allowed in the store. No where is that posted. She said she's asked her manager for signs and none have been provided. The customers are not required to know a store policy when it's never been posted. Further, I addressed the manner in which my daughter was approached. There was never an apology. Instead, Erica gave the impression that she'd rather not be there. I own three businesses and would never allow my employees to treat a customer so poorly. If you don't like your job, find a different one! I'll never go to this hot topic again. Good thing the Cedar Rapids store is still open.

I've been into this location a couple of times hoping to find something I can't live without, but it rarely happens. Staff has been kind of 'iffy' in my experience, too. Kind of rough around the edges. The store has a good variety of merchandise; plus size section is one side of the store alone, 7-16 girls section is small, but you might find something, lots of lingerie, perfumes, lotions, other body products, shoes, jewelry, handbags and much more. Store has typically been very clean when I've stopped in, but customer service isn't great at all.

The gift card was declined, but luckily I had the receipt with the gift card which verified the purchase. The store associate and the store manager said there was nothing they could do to help, but to call corporate. After calling corporate, I was informed the gift card was used in another state across the country. I don't understand how this could happen! I did not use the gift card, and the twelve digit security code was not even scratched off the card which is needed to make online purchases. The customer service in handling this situation was terrible. The store manager did not care whatsoever about the situation or in assisting in making the situation right. She had an attitude and treated myself and my brother as if we did something wrong. How does it happen someone can purchase a gift card and it disappear into who knows where, never to be used for its intended purpose as a gift? How is it appropriate or good customer service to not care to help or make it right for the customer, both in the store and through the corporate office? I will never go back to shop at this store nor will I recommend the store to anyone looking to shop for athletic shoes.
