We all gathered together at the entrance and were able to take photos together in the courtyard, awaiting our turn to go in (I appreciate the food stands available, that I'll take advantage of in the future). I loved the animatronics that would cause the jump scares! The actors were fun, but could have been a tad creepier to add to the effects. Next time I'll try the pass that allows the actors to touch you. It was a little difficult to find our cars after leaving the forest. Maybe in the future, there could be more indicators for parking lot rows? Great job! We had fun!

I was mostly shocked at how many vendors there were for food and things to see before you entered the trail. They had lots of sweet treats and burgers to purchase if you're hungry before you go in! The waitlist to get in once you've arrived isn't too long and it's nice that they have staggered entry times to avoid as much bottle necking as possible. There are a lot of actors running around ready for photo ops as well as animatronics to look at as well in the "Graveyard". The trail itself had a good variety of themed "houses" to walk through and overall, a great time!

We did the Asylum room and started out with one of our members in a straight jacket, intriguing! The room itself was decorated well and looks to be part of their actual haunted house route - super cool! This is their hardest rooms and we were close the finishing, but ran out of time. I would love to come back and try some of the other rooms! The pricing for each person is reasonable (which is what caught our eyes in the first place) and I think the experience was well worth it. Some of the clues were pretty tricky but we had such an experienced and smart group- we were told we were close to beating the record for solving the whole room, we finished with 15 mins to spare! My recommendation would be to keep your group smaller (5-6) so you have more touches with the clues. Since there were so many of us I was only able to help with a small portion of all the clues.

I loved seeing so many original cosplay costumes. The line up was fun and interesting but I was expecting a few more celebrities. It was a little unorganized (for a newbie) as I was given a time for photos but the time that I was given was before the doors even opened. Nonetheless, I had a nice time perusing the various vendors and speaking with authors and artists.

All the scenes were great. The Institute of Terror side was not as scary as it had just one theme but they did it well, we had some laughs in there trying to find our way through some of the scenes. Had no idea what to expect. We purchased VIP tickets, which were still incredibly affordable at around only around $50 more. I miss when California had this pricing... - Eventbrite tickets were exchanged for wristbands onsite - Has good signal!!!!! Helps that we're in the middle of SLC and not a desert - Security was relatively thorough, included bag check and metal detector - Once inside the venue, there were two large tent stages and one art car. Sound quality was noticeably better in the Tomb of Doom, but not terrible elsewhere - Venue felt spacious but still intimate, balancing between easy navigation and immersive attendee experience. Decor, art, and activities were dispersed throughout - Lots of food and merch vendors. And great options. Loved that they used the existing food court - Great visuals and production for each stage! So many lasers - Staff were helpful and attentive, clearing trash quickly and offering free water bottles to attendees - VIP is totally worth it! Expedited entry, private bathrooms, M&Gs, special viewing areas and lounge-- the bathrooms alone would be worth the additional cost for me LOL I'd never been to a V2 event before this. Along with Hard Summer and EDC, I'm srsly considering adding it to our yearly festival circuit.

Everyone was really respectful but there were a number of kids running around. I was in the grass, but couldn't get over how much space was between seated rows, really nice. Still room to get up and dance or pass by. Ordering concessions through the phone app worked smoothly, but the tipping experience was frustrating. I bought an overpriced $8 packaged ice cream sandwich and was hit with a tip screen on the app that really tried to force you, it was hard to bypass even the "custom" tip field came pre-filled, and I had to manually type out to remove it. At $8 for an ice cream sandwich that I pickup myself, you'd think they could afford to take care of their employees.

No one ever answered either of their lines or responded to any of my voice messages. I even sent an email to both of their email addresses. Don't even waste your time. They will not answer or respond to you no matter how many times you call or write them messages. I WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS!!!
