This was my favorite haunted house last year, so I unfortunately brought a large group of friends with me after hyping them all up on how great it was. I was sadly underwhelmed with how short it was, the removal of some of the more scary parts, and how few actors there were (and the ones who were there were mostly just standing in rooms talking...not actually scaring people). Definitely a let down and not worth the long drive or paying more for contact which never even happened really. The entire group was disappointed in the experience which was a let down since it was so much fun last year. Not sure if management changed or what, but I think this is the last year I spend money and time here.

I visited my friend that was from around this city and after dropping her off I remembered watching an episode on ghost adventures of them doing a documentary about this place. Looked up the place and decided to take a look on how it looks. My friend told me that they use this place during Halloween for a scary haunted house or some event. Upon arriving here, it looked pretty awesome, it's empty. Although the grass is still green and I do see on the back end of the place that there were a few cars parked there telling me that I guess this place still functions. I was limited on time and didn't bother to go inside. But as I was walking around the building I did notice the smell of building. It had the old building wooden/brick smell to it. It was pretty cool. Towards the side of the building were two old ambulances that I guess they use as a form of display. This place is about 30-45 minutes away from downtown salt lake. Would be pretty cool to come check this place out during Halloween.

Awesome haunted house. Attention to detail is great and you more than get your money's worth - especially if the clowns split you up...

It's a good price to just get in to walk around and take photos. The pumpkins however are pretty pricey. But that's not really why we go to pumpkin patches anyways right? I recommend.

There was a small corn maze, and 3 sort of "haunted house" things to walk through . Two of them were certainly geared more towards little kids, which was great because we have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. The other is meant for kids 13 years or older, but my 4 year old did fine. Everything was done really well too, lots of love and detail went into creating the atmosphere here. They also have little concerts/dance parties that go on throughout the day. There was plenty of food to choose from as well. There were a few food trucks and a couple areas to buy snacks. We came expecting to spend only 30 mins- 1hr and ended up spending the entire evening here, and still didn't quite have a chance to experience everything. I definitely suggest coming to check this place out for yourself.

My friends and I made a night of it, with dinner beforehand. We all gathered together at the entrance and were able to take photos together in the courtyard, awaiting our turn to go in (I appreciate the food stands available, that I'll take advantage of in the future). I loved the animatronics that would cause the jump scares! The actors were fun, but could have been a tad creepier to add to the effects. Next time I'll try the pass that allows the actors to touch you. It was a little difficult to find our cars after leaving the forest. Maybe in the future, there could be more indicators for parking lot rows? Great job! We had fun!

I was mostly shocked at how many vendors there were for food and things to see before you entered the trail. They had lots of sweet treats and burgers to purchase if you're hungry before you go in! The waitlist to get in once you've arrived isn't too long and it's nice that they have staggered entry times to avoid as much bottle necking as possible. There are a lot of actors running around ready for photo ops as well as animatronics to look at as well in the "Graveyard". The trail itself had a good variety of themed "houses" to walk through and overall, a great time!

This was great for a large group. Our group ranged in age from 8 to 79. It was scary enough that it was fun, but not too scary for our 8 YO. Everyone from the kids to teenagers to parents and grandparents were able to join in, work on the puzzles, get scared and have fun. Everyone was able to participate in finding clues and solving puzzles. It was challenging for the adults, but accessible for the kids. Our host was amazing (I think his name was Jonah) . You know what the real nightmare on 13th is? The amount of time you spend waiting in line, only to be swindled in, back to back with other patrons through the haunt. Enter Dead City, a relatively new haunt (within the past couple of years) that serves as the antidote to Nightmare on 13th. As usual, I really only knock stars because I wish the hands on experience was a bit more intense, but I get it, Dead City is brand new and probably not eager to get a lawsuit. No pun intended, there is a little bit of "dead space" where it's a bit thematically dull, and the scares are in short supply. But my God, when these people scare you they SCARE you. I came on Halloween, and I don't know if it was the last day of the season or what, but those actors were insane. Lots of rooms are really creative, and the end is essentially a maze. Where the actors will not help you out just to rush you along. Last night we went for "Krampus" night, which was festive as all get out. It was essentially a 2 for 1 experience. You got to have some scares, and see some Christmas lights. What's a word for something that's both fantastic and terrifying at the same time? Nonetheless, loved the creativity. As far as I know, they're the first of the haunts to ever do anything like this, and hopefully they make it a tradition. See ya'll next year!
