I loved the bridal stylist I worked with (Krissy) - she was so knowledgeable and listened to my feedback well. I am typically a huge sparkle girl, but I let Leo know I was hoping to go for more of a modern style while keeping it form fitting to wow my husband to be! I instantly fell in love with all the Ines Di Santo designs, and knew the Selene dress was the one once I tried it on and looked in the mirror. My mom, godmother & mother in law were already in tears seeing how perfect it fit me and how it was everything I had envisioned! Since she knew I loved a sparkle element, she also found me the most perfect veil full of Swarovski crystals that added the element I wanted Not only did Plumed Serpent help me find my dream dress, but once I heard they had an in house seamstress, I knew this was my place. From my first alteration appointment, I knew working with Lissa would be a dream - she had the same eye for perfection as me, and we were on the same page for everything! She made sure my dress fit me perfectly for my big day, leaving me with zero worries. She even added multiple bustle options so I had choices depending on how I felt on my wedding day! All night I kept hearing compliments on how it looked like the dress was truly made for me. Overall, I cannot say thank you enough to Leo & Lissa for making my wedding dress experience so amazing, and I will be recommending the Plumed Serpent to all my girlfriends!

The owner was not helpful at all, instead she made me feel so uncomfortable when she told me that I must have lost "so much" weight and it was my fault the dress was too big on me. I was 113 lbs when I ordered my dress and they ordered me a size 10. I wish I had gotten my dress somewhere else. This store ruined my wedding dress shopping experience.

I've had the most amazing experience working with Natalia at Svetlana Bridal Shop. Back in the fall…read moreI came in alone, starting my dress search with no idea where to start. Natalia's experience quickly narrowed down a few styles for me and she helped me breeze through try-ons for over a dozen dresses during my private appointment in her bright, cheery shop. We decided a custom style, pulling inspiration from a few gowns, was best for my unique vision. She was so talented and quickly sketched up a sample for me and took measurements. Contract signed and payment up front, all I had to do was wait for their skilled seamstresses to do their magic. Turmoil in Eastern Europe delayed the arrival of my dress since it was caught up in customs with significant shipping delays through Feb/March. Natalia proactively communicated updates to me and moved mountains to get my dress to NY on time, with a backup dress tailored for me and ready to go just in case. 7 days before the wedding, we were thrilled that my original dress arrived and Natalia personally hand sewed a few final adjustments for me while I was in the shop, making sure I had peace of mind and left with my beautiful dress in hand. Friends and family commented all weekend that my dress was like a fairytale, that I looked like a princess, and that it was incredibly special. Nothing off the shelf would have made such an impression, and I'm so grateful that Natalia and her team were able to make our wedding so magical. For anyone looking for a personalized experience, peace of mind, and something special - Natalia can make it happen. Thank you!!

When I…read morequestioned her on the silk inner lining being all crimped and crinkled and if she is going to steam it out she said, "NO Steam on this, just leave it in the bag hanging until the wedding." which was like 2 weeks away. She looked very nervous and couldn't get me out of her store fast enough. Why would I leave an already crinkled dress stuffed in the garment bag for another two weeks???? I left it hanging outside the bag hoping it would fall into shape and the next week I mentioned it to the Boutique owner where I purchased it and he asked me to bring it in and show him. They face timed the designer and he was upset and wanted to fix it for me because he did not want his dress worn looking like that. There was no time to have it sent back to the designer since the wedding was now 1 week away. The Boutique owner tried his best to do something but there was no fixing this. I had to wear the dress as is. The over-lining of the dress slightly helped in hiding the botched up job but it was noticeable and I felt "wrinkled" all day and it was visibly noticeable in many pictures of the day. ANOTHER WORD OF ADVICE. Do not have her do her "Brazilian Butt Lift" alteration feature --this RUINED the entire back view of the dress and when I see pictures/videos of me walking away I cringe. I actually look at pictures of me in the dress before she even touched it and then after she "altered" it and I looked better before she altered it. I should have never had it altered. It was slightly loose on top and sides but not worth the hassle of her ruining my beautiful dress. She took no accountability for this. She was referred as she knew how to work on this designer's dresses. I would never go to there or recommend them to anyone! Pictures attached show the lining all crimped and crinkled WHICH WAS throughout the ENTIRE GOWN and the Brazilian Butt Lift Debacle. Also her personality is very abrupt to the point of rude where you almost dread having to go to your fittings.
