they use AI to generate all their tattoo designs and when I tried to cancel and get my deposit back a month in advance, they said no, and then I tried to switch my service to piercings and use the deposit money to pay for the piercing since I wasn't getting the tattoo anymore and they told me no, and then they blocked me. They have no policies listed anywhere and its was not communicated whatsoever that it was non-refundable especially since it Was so far in advance and they wouldnt even let me switch services. read more

Messaged over Facebook to enquire about her "flash" tattoo sale. I wasn't sure if behind my ear would count as "neck", as there is no neck allowed for the flash. After a reply from her explaining it wouldn't be included, I thanked her anyways, she blocked me and kicked me out of the group. I don't understand why. So unprofessional, I hadn't thought the things I heard about her were true. but apparently they are. read more

A dear friend of mine trusted this woman with his first tattoo which happened to be a memorial piece. The unprofessionalism that occurred was completely unacceptable. Nicky refused to do the design that was discussed, and rushed through an absolute hack job that looked like it was done by a 7 year old. Later did we find out that she denied the original design because it would take too long and she overbooked that day and needed to rush through the appointment. Not only did she ruin a piece that held a lot of sentimental value, she felt it was okay to let her client leave with a permanent body change while knowing full well that her client was unhappy. If you value what you put on your body, never, I repeat, never go to this woman. I am surprised she is still able to continue in this business. read more

I would not recommend getting a tattoo with Nicky Stixx. The space she is in is fabulous and it looks high end but the tattoo, which i won in a contest is mediocre at best. She is nice enough but she cared more about getting my tattoo finished then creating a piece of art on my body. The lines are shaky, the lettering is terrible and when i asked her to make the lettering better she said oh i'll make it better when i do the real thing. It was not better. I was really hoping to find a local artist that i liked that could do more work but i would not go there again. She made me feel like an inconvenience and she messed up the tattoo enough that i am going to get it fixed. read more

Nicky Stixx Tattoo - Not fully healed but- circles around edge all different sizes, lettering isn't spaced right, inner circles of flower are wonky and more.. - Tattoo Near Me - Strathroy, Ontario

I won't go here simply for the fact that I was just talking to Nicki on Facebook and when I told her I liked her husbands work and thought his line work had only gotten better and would feel comfortable with him doing my tattoo, she fucking blocked me which is absolutely pathetic. Who just blocks potential clients after talking with them for months? I can't even believe what has happened. read more

The tattoo salon is located within a spa, so it's very clean and bright. Nicky saw me straight away. My appointment took less than 5 mins. It seemed like she was more interested in taking money, and rushing me out the door than giving me advice about after-care. I went to this place as they were having a script special, it was decent for a first tattoo. If you're looking for higher quality work, I would suggest looking elsewhere as I will be looking elsewhere when I plan another tattoo. read more

Extremely frustrated!! Nicky had posted on Facebook that she was doing a special for $60, and had a bunch of tattoo options to chose from. I messaged her about getting the special, but she informed me there was no longer going to be a special as people weren't showing up to the studio. I offered to give her half the payment as a deposit in order to get the special price, she turned down the offer and told me it would be $100. I was upset, but understood until the other day when she posted about doing specials again. I was surprised to see she was doing the deals again (as she complained about no shows), as I scrolled through the tattoo options for this special, I noticed the tattoo I inquired about is now $60 on special... just not for me??! Very confused as to why she told me I had to pay full price with a $50 deposit, but then gave others the opportunity to have it for $60. I believe if she was planning on doing the same tattoo on special that I inquired about, the professional thing to do would be to let me know. But I'm thinking her plan was to post tattoos on special, then say she is no longer doing it and because people are interested in the tattoo already, they book with her at full price. It's a scam.. but after reading the other reviews I'm happy I didn't book. read more

Just received my tattoo yesterday and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much Nicky. I'll definitely be back for my next one!!!

This business has moved to Ilderton and is not worth it. The tattoo artist claims to have 14 years of experience and is self taught. She is very nice and pleasant and her shop is beautiful and welcoming however her skill at tattooing is pedestrian at best. I paid 750 dollars for 9 hours of tattooing which is a steal and I only sat through about 3 and a half hours as my appointment got split to accommodate other people. So this being said her work is amateurish at best. My tattoo is not "finished" it has wavy lines and a blow out some lines are solid and almost doubled and then some are barely there. There are also skips in my colour and it doesn't meet the lines. There is a loop that is doubled as well. I have several tattoos and I was shopping around looking for an artist I can consistently work with. Nicky is not that person. She uses Facebook to book and does all these tattoo give aways and is now "training" her husband to tattoo as well. If you want an epic tattoo that is solid and creative do not look here. She will bang one out at a good price but it will not be one that you will want to wear on your body for the rest of your life! Appearances can be deceiving...I donated the rest of my tattoo time to another client with self harm scars as a refund or even partial refund seemed to not be an option. Another artist will be completely relining and recolouring my tattoo and will finish my sleeve. You get what you pay for! read more

(I know this review is long, but please read all the way through, worst tattoo experience ever!) Got a tattoo done here from Nicky, I liked it at first until I took the wrap off and got a good look at it... her Facebook group is very misleading, all her work on her page is well done, so obviously she only takes her time and cares about her work for certain people, PLEASE NEVER COME HERE posted photos on the salons actual page (skin sense spa), first of all if you want people to come back you need to be on point EVERY TIME not just some of the time ‍ my tattoo looks terrible compared to the picture I sent her, she told me she was able to do it, but it was very sloppy no detail, I hate everything about this tattoo.. she definitely rushed it only spent 45 minutes on it and then I saw her leaving when I left, she even asked if I could come in early on short notice knowing I live in London, she doesn't allow anyone in the room which makes more sense to me now, so that there's no one saying "hey that doesn't look right" on top of getting this terrible tattoo at the end when she was done she told me she added pink to make it "girly" I never asked for this, I don't want it to be girly it was not her decision to make especially without my permission or knowledge of it happening, it's not her tattoo, I'm the client I'm paying for it so the decision needs to be made by me and because it was on my side where I can't really see it I had zero knowledge of this colour change, and she did the same thing to my friends because she felt like this colour would look better... ‍ LIKE WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE IT'S NOT YOUR TATTOO DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE, PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T COME HERE, after I posted this on my personal Facebook page I had about 3 other friends tell me that they had the same experience, I've heard tons of horror stories about Nicky after I got this done read more
