I just got a tattoo by Reno. He's top notch and couldn't ask for anyone better. I would highly recommend him for anyone.

This review is solely about my experience with Meghan Mayhem -- not the shop or other staff, who…read morewere always kind and professional toward me. Meghan is undeniably talented artistically, but her interpersonal and collaborative approach left me incredibly disappointed and beyond frustrated. I spent months working with her on a large chest piece. I was very clear with what I wanted and the design she created was beautiful. We both agreed on the design, including the color. I was very excited to have her art on me. The original design was over budget, so we agreed to leave the background out for now -- an important part of our plan. Unfortunately, during the tattooing process, Meghan made major changes without my consent: * Areas that were supposed to be left as bare skin as part of the background were filled in with SOLID BLACK. * A large section that was meant to be greyscale/black and white was instead done in brown -- a color I dislike and would never choose for a tattoo. Both decisions were made without asking me. And since it was a chest piece and I could not actively see what she was tattooing by the time I could see them, it was too late. When I brought up the blackout sections, before our final session, she acknowledged remembering our plan to come back later to finish the background, but that was it. When I brought up the brown she just dismissed it as her "forgetting" it was supposed to be black and white. No apology. No remorse. Oddly, during our second session of line work, she tattooed my stomach by accident because she wasn't paying attention to how she was pulling her hand and the tattoo gun away from my body. She was genuinely apologetic and continued to be around this mistake. And I really didn't have an issue with it. But the fact that she was able to take accountability around this mistake makes her lack of care around the more serious issues even more frustrating. If I could go back, I'd have walked away at the early red flags before any ink was laid. I was too focused on her drawing and ignored my gut. Now I'm left with a very expensive tattoo that infuriates me when I look in the mirror and I can't fix it. Again, it would have been amazing if she had stuck to HER original design and what we agreed on. A few more things just to be aware of if you do want to work with her: * She has an extremely heavy hand -- I'm still bruised from our third session 5 months later. * As a trans person, I also felt uncomfortable with some transphobic comments she made. She's not overtly hateful, but definitely not a safe or affirming artist for trans clients. In short: her artistic skill doesn't make up for the lack of communication, disregard for consent, and unprofessional behavior. I cannot recommend her less.

I was there for a repiercing because I got one years ago with a gun that was very crooked and had closed up. When my daughter is old enough to want her ears pierced and responsible enough to care for them I will take her here! I was also in and out in no time, and their pricing can't be beat (cheaper than the other place I was considering). I wish I had gone here ages ago! Skip those awful piercing guns and just go here!

My industrial was fine at first, but never healed because it was done incorrectly and the bar was too short, so I just gave up on it today (image of bad piercing side effects included). Next, my septum was peirced lopsided and the ring was bent to the point it was uncomfortable. I thought the ring made it look lopsided since it was bent so badly, but when I bought a new titanium ring to change it, I noticed it was the hole that was lopsided. Then, when I went to repierce it last month, my new piercer said it was pierced on the cartilage and not the small skin spot it's meant to be pierced. I was extremely upset and disappointed since it's literal hell for me to get piercings. I have vasovagal syncope so it's incredibly difficult for me to get piercings. Do not go here under any circumstances. I wish I could give zero stars for f***ing up my very hard to get piercings.
