The reason why I'm not happy with my visit was it costed $15 to enter. My friend and I just wanted to stop by and take a look around. Maybe buy a pumpkin. But paying an entree fee like that seemed a bit ridiculous. Especially when everything inside was for an extra fee as well. They should offer a pumpkin with the entree fee to make things worth while, in my opinion. I see why families would spend money on the entree fee, but not two adults just stopping by to get a pumpkin and maybe some treats. We planned to spend our money while we were there anyway. Such a delight!!! We live in the Natomas area I was excited to not have to travel so far for a pumpkin patch. It's easy to fine and parking was easy to get into. There is a price to pay to get in but it's not too pricy. There were so many amenities; there is a little shop to buy snacks etc; a food place that sold hamburgers & hot dogs. they had two hunted houses to explore. A giant slide for the kids and many fun rides around the cornfields. The service and great! Everyone was super nice and I felt like I was walking into see family. read more

We enjoyed the staff's warm hospitality and the beautiful pumpkin patch. The kids had fun running through the corn maze, haunted house, and enjoying the hayride. The Italian ice, pumpkin muffins, chocolate peanut clusters, and other treats were yummy. We also captured some cool pictures in the evening. I loved this pumpkin patch! We paid the silver bracelet to enjoy various activities offered. Well worth the price. They have lots of things to do for the whole family: a hay maze, the pumpkin patch, inflatable slide for the kids, pony rides (you pay extra for those), face painting, cow ride (not on actual cow), hay ride, train ride, corn maze, a hay pyramid, corn kernel box (kids were having a lot of fun in these boxes), blowing bubbles, and a corn husk shooting game. Their customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive to customers, and ready to help. They also have food available to purchase. This was the only "bad" thing for me since you are not allowed to bring outside food. Even though the prices are fair, the choices were not many. The hamburger was dry. The hot dog was good. The grilled corn I got was not fully cooked. I will definitely return next year. read more

If you love a fun and safe space for your kiddos to run around in the fall, this place is it. There are not too many attractions and lines but the kids enjoy being able to run around through the kid sized mazes! These are especially great for parents to let the kids lead without losing sight of them. The hay maze is also very fun for the kids. The pony machines were a hit among my kids as well as the hay ride, the corn pit, and the pumpkin blaster. Can't forget you have the option of going through the haunted houses, which we only did one. As a parent, I was nervous going through, but the kids loved it. Entrance is very reasonable and the pic ops are such a fun touch! We got to pic from a variety of pumpkins to take home and decorate with. Overall, worth the trip for the memories and the fun, it's a sweet smallish farm with a bit of mechanical rides and a stress free atmosphere for parents. Definitely recommend for smaller kids 7 and under would love this. Go during the week to beat the crowd! read more

We recently moved to the Natomas area and were excited to learn that there was a pumpkin patch close by. We took our 5 year old and she had a blast (literally). She loved the pumpkin cannon, though it came in second to the slide. She also loved the corn pit and the hayride. It's a small patch that's not overly crowded and has plenty to do and see. Lots of different spots for photos that we took advantage of. There were spooky decorations and a haunted house that I thought were cool but my daughter wasn't a fan of (too scary for her, but they're easy to keep the littles away from if not their jam). There were lots of pumpkins to choose from. We had lunch- the grilled sweet corn was tasty, and the cheeseburger was good. The prices were decent. We didn't get to try the Hawaiian Ice, but they looked amazing. My only suggestion would be more/clearer signage for the attractions. There was a lot of confusion around the hayride, cow ride and train ride and the staff member just stared at me when I asked. All in all it's a cute, fun patch that we really enjoyed and definitely plan on returning to and will recommend to friends and family. read more

These folks have put so much thought, imagination, and effort in making this a fun event. The scenic "town" has so much detail. The 2 haunted houses were just creepy enough without being horrific. Train, cow, and hay rides were enjoyable through the pumpkin patch and corn fields. Lots of trees and shade, places to sit and relax, small playground rides, and small variety of good food. Over the past decade I have been to most of the pumpkin patches around Sacramento with my kids. I always deliberate on where to go because there are pros and cons to the different patches. My search is finally over! Nick & Ray's has it all!! First off, I love a REAL pumpkin patch- where you can walk into the field and find your perfect pumpkin. They have that here, and it's so close to Sac! Plus, you still have all the gorgeous varieties of pumpkins available. Then there's ALL the activities. Hay ride, super fun trains, corn mazes, play houses (so vintage and cute!), pumpkin cannon (you have to see it to believe it!), and even a haunted house for the bravest among us. My family had a blast. Plus yummy food, because all that Fall fun makes ya hungry! Just go, you won't be disappointed. read more

I went to Nick and Rays this past weekend and even though it was so hot we had a great time. There is plenty of shade so much for the kids to do and so clean. All of the staff were so friendly and a young man helped me take all of my pumpkins to my car. When we got to my car I had a flat tire and the owner Nick came out and changed it for me. Went here with my nieces and for $12 they were to do a lot of things. They also had seating next to the kid attractions making it convenient to sit and watch them play. The staff were also friendly and nice which made it easy to communicate with. Great affordable family experience! read more
