The cheeseburger was really excellent. I don't care for burgers but it had a good amount of beef and tasted like it was made on a flat top so the outside was browned and caramelized. I really liked the tots, too. They were crunchy and the fry sauce was a perfect dip for them. I could only eat half. The fries were pretty good, as well. Service was really good. The person who helped us in the deli was really nice. Ambiance? It's a country store with a small deli and a couple places to sit and eat. It was nice. It's nice getting to look around while you wait for your food to be cooked. I would definitely go back and try other things. I recommend stopping in if you're heading by. The food is worth stopping for!!

I did go through the convenience store and look at the snacks and everything they had. It looked like the norm for a convenience store. A very hasty reply came back at me from the cashier, she said "bags cost 35 cents sorry". I just ran my card and I didn't have any change on me. My experience has always been if the cashier forgets to mention the need for bags and the transaction is completed it's courtesy to give you a bag or a box to put your items in. It was a ridiculous situation as was the feeling I from the cashier, that store is a ridiculous place.

No matter how busy or hectic or chaotic that store gets she is always so calm, kind and has the best customer service. If this was a review just on her, this would be a 5 star review with no hesitation. It is not a 5 star review because how are you gonna sell small coffees and give them away with rewards points, if you don't have any lids that fit them properly. I redeemed a small coffee on my rewards tonight after work and found out about the kids the hard way. I spilt scorching hot coffee all down my forearm when someone bumped into me. You realize this needs to be fixed cause that's a lawsuit waiting to happen. My arm is still so red from being burnt. You should not sell such hot drinks if there are no lids. But this store is clean, has fun non-food items, cheesy slogans, great produce and real bargains! You need to learn the system. They have some foods on a regular basis but other items are added as they get them. You can't get other things-like big heavy garbage bags. And finding where bags are located was an aerobic adventure! They may not have what your looking for but what you find can become a new fav. But like Kim G said if Grocery Outlet in another town, Watch expiration dates! I never thought to check but found some can be close! But salads and some produce have been good. For some reason they have better russet potatoes and they had broccoli that tasted picked out of the field! Who knew?? It's close, it's cheap, but I just don't plan on doing my entire grocery shopping here. I do recommend trying Grocery Outlet and will be back!
