I sometimes come in wearing my business clothes and I sometimes come in wearing my ranch/riding clothes with straw in my hair. No matter, I am always treated with courtesy and respect. We have many farms, ranches and wineries nearby, and tourists. Sometimes this little market gets slammed with a crowd especially when the seasonal workers are going home for the day. Everybody is patient and waits their turn. All are treated respectfully and service is cheerful and peppy. I mentioned once that a certain soft drink had been missing from inventory for over a week. The owner went out of his way to get it there, even by bringing some in from his other store until the shipment arrived. This is a little funky country store, owned by very welcome immigrants to our country and it's a cool addition to our area. It's been here forever,has changed hands a few times, and I hope it never goes away. I have brought my car in on empty many times and was grateful to have a gas station here in the valley. You can get sandwiches custom made, buy pizza and if you like chewing tobacco you can even get that. (yuk) You never know who you will run into there. Young excited kids filling up their inner tubes for river rafting, fishermen, campers, doctors, lumberjacks, lawyers, and even millionaires. You never can tell. The steaks we bought were excellent quality too, they were tender, fresh, and cooked up beautifully at home. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the product and the service. Places like this remind me why I'd rather buy local than go to a big chain. I'll definitely be back.

Their pork chops are so good and ribeye steaks were delicious and tender-had to cut off a bit of fat but will do for the price. They have fun frozen seafood in small batches so you can use in one meal. Service is good, market is clean and well organized. Some things don't have prices which makes it hard to ask when it's busy. I said no that was old and the pot was empty, He involved a male customer saying do these woman think this is free? I said look the coffee is too old to drink but if it's a problem i will pay for it but will not drink it. I reluctantly paid for it, as he threw it in the garbage.
