I really appreciated Ken's easy-going demeanor, and sensed zero interest in him trying to sell me a repair service that wasn't needed. Ken is just an honest guy offering his experienced opinion - in no doubt, putting yet another homeowners' unwarranted concerns to rest. Would be nice If all companies sent inspectors who operated the same way as Ken.

We laid out what we wanted and Fredy told us what we could and couldn't do. He told us he could have the plans done pretty quickly and we were happy with how it was going until.. We wanted to add a skylight and asked Fredy about it. He quickly said we couldn't and gave no real explanation why. So we did a little research, asked another engineer and found out it was possible. When we called to ask Fredy about it he YELLED AT MY WIFE and basic said not to question him. It seemed Fredy didn't want to do the extra work to look into it. He ended up adding it after I had another conversation with him. It's not over.. Once we finally get the plans and turn them into the City for review they get sent back to us. FREDY MESSED UP NORTH AND SOUTH! It then took him over 2 weeks to correct it! THIS COST US OVER 10K DOLLARS because the project was held up and we had to keep paying the mortgage FREDY MESSED UP OUR PLANS 2 MORE TIMES AND COST US OVER 20K DOLLARS IN MORTGAGE PAYMENTS AND MONTHS OF IDLE TIME Please don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews. There was continuous and steady progress, and I usually was invited over each week to check on the progress of work. The project was well timed. The initial estimate was for around 5 months. It ended up taking 5 months and 3 weeks. The small delay was due to city permitting back-and-forth and weather, which all seemed understandable. The cost estimate was also quite accurate. We only went less-than-10% over, and generally due to things that we decided to upgrade partway through, or issues we discovered only after tearing open the walls. They also had a one year warranty on issues with the work, which they have honored with no hassle. Ultimately the company acts with integrity, and in this industry that's saying a lot.
