I don't speak hairdresser language, so it's hard for me to explain how I really want it. A good hairdresser is good at cutting what I really want, not just what he/she thinks that I want. Also, I don't speak much French. The one who cut my hair did not speak English. Translation was done by another co-worker and my girlfriend, which is French. Coming from California, at best I know some French words but Sarah speaks English well. Initially she spent time consulting with me and I shared photo of what I was looking for (I went from short length hair to a pixie cut). My haircut was crafted expertly and extremely happy with the outcome. Sarah was so sweet, genuine and truly accommodating! Sarah brought me to the rear of the salon to the wash station room. She explained she wanted to create a relaxing and soothing experience while getting hair washed/conditioned. Dimmed lights with a visual slide show projection of tropical images to enhance the experience- totally cool. The shampoo wash and head massage was the best ever! Sarah expertly gave a lengthy head and neck massage and ended with a hot/warm head towel to further add to the experience. It was a real treat! The salon itself has a contemporary, a chic but yet warm design, immaculate. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I was brought a tray of bottled Vitell water/glass during my visit. Be prepared since they don't rush you out the door with a quick turnaround appointment. Its apparent service is important and taking care of you takes added time which was very evident to me. I came in to see if there were any free appointments that day, to be told no, but I made an appointment for the next weekend. I came in and the hairdresser spent so much time on my wash and cut. Also, something I really hate in Paris salons is that they charge extra for things like conditioner and they always ask if you want these random treatments (which they don't tell you are 50+ euros extra) - she never did this! I had my hair washed, conditioned, had beautiful products put in it, all without charging extra or trying to get me to do an unnecessary treatment. I left feeling really great, with a good cut and amazing blow dry. It cost me about 65 euros, which isn't cheap, but after my last 50 euro cut that was so terrible I am willing to spend the little bit extra to make sure the time is taken and my hair was cared about properly.

It is impossible for us to do the makeup trail before our photo shooting session, because we stay in Paris only for a few day! Therefore, Miss Tatiana told me just show her a picture of which style we want, then she can make it happen on us!! And she really did!! Her makeup and hairstyling skill is super!! While she was doing eye makeup on us, our eyes didn't feel any irritating at all, we are very impressive and very appreciated that! Moreover, the hairstyling she do on us are absolutely gorgeous, and it can last for all day long!! The cosmetic she use on us, it's great brand name, in result our makeup last all day long without oxidized nor moved at all! Just do a simple touch up in the evening, my makeup just looks as fresh as 12 hours ago when my makeup was first done! One of the important little tips: make sure, make an appointment with her 5 hours ahead from the photo shooting appointment in the morning, because she needs to take 3 hours to do the detailing makup and hairstyling for one person. The extra hour is for myself to get change, I am not kidding to wear wedding gown is very difficult, it's really takes time to manage it! I need some time to wear those accessories which I want to show on the picture. Another extra hour is to call and wait for Uber to pick us up, some travel time, and some extra time for me to reach a new place! If you want to make an appointment with her to do the touch-up and change your hair style in the evening for one person, make sure make an appointment 4 hours ahead of time! Miss Tatiana needs at least 1.5 hour to do the hairstyle change and touch up the makeup. Moreover, I need some time to get change. In addition, make sure spare extra time for the makeup artist to go to your place to meet you, it's definitely necessary, especially if you make an appointment with the makeup artist around 6:00 in the evening is rush hour, Paris traffic is really crazy around that time! Because I only made the appointment 3 hours ahead of time in the evening, I were late to the photo session half an hour. Thank God, we have awesome photographer, he personally added extra time for us to finish the photo shooting session without any short of time nor rush!
