The owner, Don, got to me in a couple days due to backlog of service calls (typical for holidays when everyone is up north) and is completely understandable based on limited number of plumbers in the area. Everyone else was a week or longer before they could respond. Once Don got on property he diagnosed the issue almost immediately (bad pressure switch on the pressure tank). Repair was fairly quick (about 40 minutes) where total cost came to $110 (parts and labor) which I though was very reasonable, especially in comparison to metro Detroit prices. Throughout the repair Don was very friendly and professional and did not mind my questions or my desire too be educated on my system (curse of being an engineer). I was thoroughly impressed by him and his friendly demeanor and he definately will be my go to plumbing guy in the Oscoda area for any future repairs. Highly recommend!

When I explained the situation over the phone, Amy at Colvins was tremendously pleasant and helpful--what a great asset to the company to have such a welcoming, professional voice to assist customers! On the day of installation, the work crew showed up on time, talked me through what they would be doing, and were very efficient in getting their work done. They swapped out our 20+ year old dinosaur for a super efficient Rheem two-stage furnace, installed an easy-access air filter replacement door, and installed a new digital thermostat (bye-bye antique dial-type thermostat). But in full disclosure, the install was not entirely flawless. While ascending our attic ladder to check a whistling noise in the ducting, the attic ladder was broken by the work crew, but I appreciated that they were up front about the accident, and they encouraged me to call the store to make arrangements for Colvins to assist with the cost of replacement--and, of course, Amy was exceptionally accommodating in this respect when I shared with her what had happened. And to top off the experience, a couple of days after the job was finished, I received an unexpected gift in the mail--an overnighted package containing a tin of cookies with a note from Colvins thanking me for choosing them. Well, thanks right back at you, Colvins! All in all, my experience with Colvins was very positive, and I would confidently recommend their work.

I called Webb because I had low water pressure in my home. I needed a new well pump which they…read moreinstalled. Also, my pressure gauge didn't work and had a lot of rust on the pressure tank and outlet pipes. So they replaced the tank and installed a pressure T with the gauge and switch and pipes. Then they cleaned all my bathroom faucet screens (31/2 baths) and kitchen. They even did the washing machine which was totally clogged. They changed the whole house filter. f Webb went above and beyond to get my water system working again. I definitely would recommend them Bo and Eddie.
