They were very mindful of the fact that we had just had new carpet installed and wore disposable booties over their shoes whenever they had to come into our living room. Hometown is an awful company. Since I had a DTE home warrantee, DTE selected them to do service on…read moremy refrigerator. The technician had no clue how to open the front panel. He was so lost that he had to "you tube" how to get access to problem area. Finally he said he would order the damaged part, after two weeks of no response, I called them. They never got back to me. DTE called them, they never got back to them. This went on for a total of 8 calls with no call back on status. Finally, I had to get DTE to authorize another company to come out and repair my refrigerator. They found and fixed the problem. Hometown totally misdiagnosed the issue. Hometown was a total waste of time.
