I felt that was too much as I had the similar job done by another Co. 2 years ago. The job at that time was around $150. I know prices have risen but, not that much. I am getting along in years, so I can't recall the names of the nice gentlemen who came out to my home to fix the clog, but they were really quite thorough! All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Gary came out and gave it a look, and we determined the smart thing to do would be to just replace the valve which meant buying a new fixture as well. It took The Wife a little while to land on one, but once we had it, Gary came back out and did the replacement. Worth mentioning that Gary did not initially charge me for the first visit... but we squared up on the install. Gary is the real deal... an old school craftsman who knows all the tricks to getting the job done right without cutting corners, not to mention having a wicked sense of humor. Very ethical in his work practices and really competitive on pricing. He's now my go-to guy for plumbing needs

The only problem I had with them was they told me they would send someone out the following week to clean up the yard. That never happened. I was left with deep ruts where they ran the backhoe. I also had several deep low spots and random high spots where they didn't fill the trench back in after replacing the water line. They also left several large roots laying around that they had dug up. I've been trying to clean up the mess myself so I can reseed, but that's not easy when you are a little old lady like me. Overall, I would recommend them for most jobs since they did a good job repairing the problem and did not overcharge for the work. Just don't expect a lot of follow-up once the job is done.
