At the final meeting, he had the audacity to ask for over 1K for blah blah. Of course we said "NO, there's nothing in the contract about that and doesn't he know whats in his own contract?" Then, he actually said this, "dont u think i deseve it for all the work i did?" Stupidly we read and trusted google reviews. I'm old enough to kown its a red flag when a company cant provide real life references. We hired Oklahoma Landscape to address significant drainage issues in our backyard. One of the…read moreprimary reasons we selected them was their advertised drainage expertise. Their website emphasizes foundation drainage specialists and protecting homes from moisture intrusion and water damage, and Robbie spent considerable time evaluating our property and discussing a plan before work began. Unfortunately, our experience once construction started was very different from what we expected. On the first day, the crew began digging without reviewing the project with us, which resulted in work being performed in the wrong area of the yard. Over the course of the project, portions of the drainage system were repeatedly dug up and reworked due to installation issues. This led to extensive disruption of our yard, damage to areas that did not need to be disturbed, and utility lines being cut during construction. What was expected to be a relatively straightforward drainage project ultimately stretched to nearly a month of ongoing rework and adjustments. Communication from the field crew was limited, and when the project was finished, there was no walkthrough or explanation of the completed system. Most importantly, the drainage issues were not resolved. During the first significant storm after completion, water again pooled against the side of our house and we experienced a water intrusion inside our home. This resulted in damage that required additional remediation and led us to hire another contractor to redesign and correct the drainage work. I will say that Robbie was generally communicative throughout much of the process and was professional in our interactions. However, there was a significant disconnect between what was discussed during planning and what was ultimately executed in the field. In the end, despite the time, cost, and disruption involved, we were left with the same drainage problems we hired the company to solve. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Oklahoma Landscape for drainage projects. (attached photos are of the completed project)
