If I could write support a five star review separately I would. Supports awesome they always return your calls quickly they try to fix the issue instantly they're great. The technology on the other hand is dated and buggy. The software is not state of the art and my $2000 kiosk took months to receive and is buggy. The sales guy is full of it I can't stand lying. The previous tanning program we used had issues communicating with our timer on a daily basis. When TanTrack was available for 24 hour service, I switched immediately per the recommendation of the previous owner of the salon. Whatever hiccups I came across, they've been quick to fix and they even listen to my suggestions! (A couple of which were even implemented!!!) Like others, our experience with Nichesoft is equally poor. Bad communication paired with different information from multiple people at Nichesoft has caused nothing but problems. A recent issue caused by their lack of information after we called them led to our software being blocked by them. It appears there is no office as the people we spoke with couldn't check on our previous communications or directly take off the software block. This for software we already paid for. In conclusion, the software is last century technology, buggy and when you have a problem the support is terrible. We are losing money using this software while Nichesoft waits on an e-mail from us for information that should have been requested by them 2 weeks ago on the phone. read more

It saddens us that we were recommended to this company with our rep indicating they usually have a feature that you could get the software free till the first of the year, We spoke with the sales rep and he indicated they had no such thing and advised us we were getting the conversion free. They did not have to do a conversation as we entered everything ourselves. Asked about a month free as they only had to train. Again rep said no. 2 weeks after we signed and we were not even trained, did not start the program, we get a post card indicating Tan track free till January. In calling the company I was informed that was a show special, I found the postcard called back read the entire card to him for us to be told the TECHNICALLY WE WERE NOT A NEW CUSTOMER!. Asked if that is the way the owner does business and I was reminded we were not new. We are a little guy in Northern Michigan, asked about this from the start and this is how the little guy is treated. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS, SEEMS THEY ONLY CATER TO THE BIG GUYS!. FYI we would still be paying the 35 for a second computer a month. go figure.... one star because I have to. great service.... fixed my problem quickly and the service tech was wonderful and friendl.

I own a tanning salon, and purchased TanTrack from Nichesoft. We were excited to use them because they listed all of the things TanTrack was compatible with. Turns out, all the elements that TanTrack is compatible with have to be purchased through Nichesoft as well (which they do not mention), or you have to pay $75 for each element to be set up on top of your $250 support contract. All of the things they say it works with, e.g. Quickbooks, Digital Persona, etc... will work in the free trial version they send you, but will not work with the installed version on your computer. I would never recommend that anyone looking to go into the salon business use them. They are full of hidden fee's, the program is mediocre at best, and they are a joke to "work" with. read more

I bought the Beauty Trax software several years ago and have been struggling with the bad programming ever since. Heaven forbid anything should happen to your computer because they will make you buy their technical support before the rude support people will even talk to you. And then tech support will download their "latest version" that just messes up what you had. What they promised they did not deliver, and they are very smug in telling you they are not interested in your problems unless you pay them. My advice: don't buy this junk either Beauty Trax or Tanning Trax, it's not worth the frustration when things go wrong. read more

I have used this company for my tanning business for over 3 years. I have never had any issues with them. The tech support is always willing to help with any issues and always gets the problem resolved! I have had the chance of working with Kendall, Patrick and Brian. I would highly recommend using them. The call back system for tech support is a little different since you have to leave a voicemail and have them call you back but it is always in a timely manner. The features they offer are up-to-date, they are constantly updating. I am able to go into a report and view all of my sales for certain dates and view tax sales to pay taxes each month. Very easy to understand and simple. I don't think I could see myself using another company for my technical needs. Keep up the good work! read more

I wish I could grade them with a negative 5 stars. YOU ARE BETTER OFF USING AN ABACUS!! This software is a complete joke and don't even get me started on the "tech support" you have to leave a voicemail or send and email for someone to even contact you. The features are lacking heavily and please do your best to not make a mistake because it doesn't have retroactive capability. I still have to use an excel spreadsheet to balance and record sales activity. Take my advice and do your accounting the old school way until you can afford to upgrade to real program. read more
