You also are able to sample any flavors before choosing! Being that I just ate, I got myself a small treat, a "baby" cup of pistachio gelato. They had the Dubai chocolate pistachio flavor as well, but I felt that one was too sweet for my liking. I was very happy with my pistachio! My sister in law enjoyed fruity gelatos and my brother a rich, dark chocolate. Every gelato comes with a chocolate, which is a nice added touch. Once you decide what you want, you go to the back of the store and order using a digital kiosk. Once you have paid, you hand your order ticket to the staff and they prepare it for you. We've been twice for vegan gelato trying the chocolate, mango, and strawberry. We also tasted the lime basil which was delicious, but didn't seem like it would go with chocolate, and I can't turn down a good chocolate gelato. :) I'm guessing this place is a madhouse in the summer. Apparently this little gelato cart is seasonal and only out May through October. We had our lunch in Central Park & were then in the mood for gelato so walked a couple of blocks to cool off with the best gelato. To me the good gelato has to have that perfect gelato texture and theirs did not disappoint. It was delicious! I had two scoops - pistachio and mokaccino (coffee and chocolate ) and my friend had a scoop of fresh strawberry and a scoop of chocolate mint on a cone. The mint had fresh sprigs of mint. So good. They also had sorbet (sorbetti) for those who can't have dairy or are vegan. (Or just love fruit sorbet!) The non-dairy options were coconut and raspberry. I definitely want to come back and try the raspberry sorbet Also, the fountain there is so beautiful, a great place to eat gelato, watch the fountain, and people watch.
