I live in Pompano and I would travel to South Miami every three weeks because I didn't trust anyone with my brows but now I have finally found a place! Prior to booking an appointment I called to discuss my options and found Rupa to be very knowledgeable of her craft and understanding of my dilemma. She booked me an appointment for me and when I showed up the quality of service, professionalism not to mention friendly atmosphere is what I was looking for. The job she did on my eyebrows sucked too. I told her a cleanup, but that was the quickest eyebrow threading I've ever gotten...she didn't even try. And the comment about the payment. She asked for cash, but I thought my wallet in, so I payed via Apple Pay with my credit card. She made a little slick comment like she thought the card was going to bounce. "Cash is better". Ma'am...money is money, the form doesn't matter. Quiet as it's kept, I probably make more money than this woman. But since I'm a black woman in work out clothes, she probably assumed I didn't have anything. In a lot of these places, you walk in as a black person and the vibe completely changes when it's time to give us their service. I get that vibe a lot here in south florida (can't wait to move). I'm going back to the woman who usually does my eyebrows (my girl Sunitha, look her up, she's friendly, more affordable, and she's been doing my eyebrows for years. I always tip her very well because she's always been kind and she's never been disrespectful to me). I live further away from her, but today let me know that Raz Brow is on some bs, and I should just make the drive to Sunitha. The gas money is worth it. Do not go here, especially if you're a black woman who just needs her eyebrows to not look crazy when she goes into work... it gives racist vibes.

I am able to go to the gym without feeling like I need put on any makeup because my curled lashes make me look awake and fresh. Making the appointment was easy because it could be done online or through Yalina's Instagram. I told the receptionist! I went back to use the restroom before leaving- toilet paper now sitting on a the bar next to the toilet---paper towel dispenser not working! I told the owner who completely ignored me. Gave my tech the same tip as always - don't want to punish her for bad management, but REALLY-how about providing the basic necessities to customers- should I take my $100+ every 3 weeks and find someplace else??
