The display glass at the front was so clean that I thought there was no glass there! Impressive. Bathrooms clean too. I feel very comfortable eating there.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Tony's Master Pizza (Pembina)…read more I ordered a large pepperoni and bacon pizza by phone and waited 1.5 hours. When it arrived, it had onions, which I am allergic to. I called the store immediately and was told I had supposedly ordered onions completely false. I've ordered this exact pizza before and would never order something I'm allergic to. I was offered either a store credit (without confirmation) or a remake that would take another 45 minutes. I chose the remake, as promised. When the second driver arrived, he aggressively accused me of being rude to the first driver, could not explain how, and then told me to never order from them again. This was shocking, unprovoked, and extremely unprofessional. Calling the store afterward got me zero apology, zero accountability, and a dismissive "What do you want me to do? I wasn't there." For a $43 pizza, this level of service is outrageous. Mistakes happen -- but disrespecting and blaming a customer for your errors is unacceptable. I will never order from Tony's Master Pizza again.

The onions were not bad but I really love goat cheese and it just wasn't very flavourful or very strong tasting in this pizza. Goat cheese is usually very strong tasting. A very strong cheese. The pizza overall was okay in a mild cheese pizza kind of way but I prefer cheese to taste like high quality cheese. Maybe another option would have had more authentic flavours. They put in the effort to proof dough; no shortcuts and no hurry. A shiny electric oven that reaches over 800 degrees is what brings out the flavors and makes the fresh ingredients so good. This Za branch in St. Vital has its own pizza special exclusive to this location: The St. Vital Cheeseburger Pizza. It's exactly what it sounds like: The elements of cheeseburger ingredients in a full thin crust pizza. Needless to say, I have absolutely no complaints about the pizza. Delicious in every way, even if I'm not a huge fan of thin crust pizza. The ingredients are fresh and seen in front of you, and the pizza oven consistently cooks the pizza perfectly. This location has more choices than the downtown location, which is the one I frequent the most. I'd recommend here if you want a good dining experience at Za.

To my surprise, they had vegan cheese and you could select their original, whole wheat or gluten-free dough. I got the whole wheat crust with vegan cheese and chose lots of veggies (I don't remember what it was, but they all looked good) along with some roasted garlic with their classic tomato sauce. Oh, and it was thin crust too! I love thin crust. Best thing ever. Oh and despite my massive amount of toppings, it didn't fall apart. The pizza took about 10 minutes in total. Very efficient staff. Best part? It was only $9.95 before tax. This was delicious and you can get there through the Skywalk from the Delta hotel/Convention centre. Next time I'm in Winnipeg for work, this is my go to lunch place.

Tip: The online specials through Santa Lucia are decent. I got combo 1 featuring a pound of chicken…read morewings, a 10" three-topping pizza, and two bottles of pop for $36 before taxes. Santa Lucia Pizza is a chain in Winnipeg. I recently stayed in Steinbach and wondered whether there was a location in the city. There was. Yay! This location was a couple of blocks away from where I was staying. Nice! I decided to do takeout. I placed my order online. When I lived in Winnipeg, my go-to pizza joints were Papa Georges in my neighbourhood of Osborne Village and Jumbo Pizza. Sadly, both are gone. It was time for me to find a local pizza place. Fun fact: I had never ordered pizza from Santa Lucia until this visit. I tend to get baked spaghetti. It's excellent. There was an online deal to get this bundle, so I did: - Two bottled soft drinks (591 mL) - One 10" three-topping (pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers) pizza - A pound of wings with honey dill sauce I got an estimated time of thirty minutes. It was perfect for me to go shopping for fruit, pick up this dinner order, and then head back to my hotel room to chow down. I had no problem finding this pizza place. I did have a tough time finding a parking spot. I couldn't temporarily park in front to the entrance for a pick-up-and-go approach. There was a golf cart taking up that spot and being loaded with a ton of cold cans of pop. This eatery is a part of Steinback Fly-in Golf Club. This eatery shares the same parking lot with Steinbach Aquatic Centre. It explained why I found a spot closer to this sports centre than Santa Lucia. There's also a park across from both places, which explains the parking situation even more. There was a woman with a newborn in front of the eatery. It was a shaded area for them on such a hot day. Out of all the Santa Lucia restaurants that I have frequented, this one is the nicest. It was so fancy seeing three different types of mints on the table. Note to self: When I'm here again, I will have a dine-in meal. It's gorgeous! Two young folks were so kind when I approached the welcome area. I indicated that I had an online order. Both nodded. The male fetched my food. The female confirmed that I had paid online and that I could grab my two bottled drinks from the fridge. I got my wings and pizza. The former was in a box in a paper bag. The pizza was in its own box. This place has Pepsi products. Sadly, there wasn't any Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Zero, so I went with regular. Because I was carrying so much stuff. I had a difficult time pushing the door to get out. The mom outside was kind to open the door for me. I thanked her profusely. She was friendly and great. I appreciated her help! I got to my vehicle and was happy to put away all my items. The two cold drinks and wings went into my insulated bag. I made sure that my pizza was secured before I drove back to the hotel. I started with the wings. I got a generous number of them. It was a full dozen of breaded, plump wings. They were crispy and delicious. The honey dill sauce was divine! I dipped each wing into it. I'd get the wings again with this sauce. They were excellent! I'm so glad that this meal deal featured a 10" pizza. I had half of it that evening. I heated everything up the following day for breakfast. I loved my pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers pizza. The sauce was so good. The pizza was crispy and chewy where they should be. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful. I can see why this pizza chain has been around longer than I have been on this planet. The pizza was top-notch, featuring quality ingredients that screamed yummy. I was pleased to get two bottles of Pepsi. I had one with my meal. It was cold, although sweeter than I generally would like. I put the other one in my mini fridge and had it the following day. I had a wonderful experience here. I have found a good pizza place to call my go-to pizza place. I'd like to go back when I return to Steinbach. (249)
