My first time in a helicopter, and I didn't realize how much they tip. The pilot doesn't say anything, its all just a pre-recorded speech that you can barely hear over the propeller. This was the third time we have been on helicopter tours. I love riding helicopters. The views of the falls and the river were breathtaking. It's absolutely worth going up. The ride was smooth and super pleasant. The narration was over a speaker and impossible to hear or understand. The pilot didn't speak a word to us. There were no headsets provided. We were a party of two. We were put on with a party of three. I requested the front seat and thought it would work out so that the family of three would take the back seat. But, they split up the family. They put the dad and very little boy in the front and the mom in back with us. I found that very odd. We would have been very happy to wait around until we could have had a front seat ride. The staff is not at all friendly and did not speak to us about options. read more

There is a recording that is playing giving you educacional information but you don't really listen to it because you are taking in the view. One of the most well organized, professional and affordable things to do in Niagara. It's about 10 minutes journey from the falls via Uber. And note: no booking needed. You can experience long lines when the tour buses drop off but the operation is designed well where that line just diminishes very quickly, Each helicopter takes 7 people comfortably and we lost count after seeing 5 helicopters in the sky at once. They just keep coming. Affordable? Get a $20 coupon leaflet at most hotels on the falls. Considering the cost of everything at the falls for a 12-15 minute tour in a nice helicopter it's well worth the price. Even the photo opportunities they try and sell are worth the cost and cheaper than Skylon and other places in town. Couple of things to note. One is lack of cell signal at the location. Even with international roaming we had to walk down the path to get a signal to order an Uber back! I'm taking a star off, as the grind staff were not patient at all with someone with a disability trying to climb into the cockpit on their small steps. I asked if I could climb in one side as it's better for me and they refused. So taking my time to get in the other side two people attempted to push me in, not gently. That's not right and it just took longer for me to step back and tell them to back off. Which they did. The manager who was running the waiting line knew and allowed me time to get up to the helicopter but once there they are dead set on loading you quickly. Not appreciated. Great experience to see the falls from the sky, but also would recommend taking the hornblower boat ride, it takes you very close to the falls. You will get soaking wet, but if it's a nice warm weather, then it's like jumping in to the pool. read more

While visiting Niagara Falls, Canada in April our trip was great. It wasn't the time for tourist to start coming into town so we had no lines, first come first served was awesome, and staff everywhere didn't seem too stressed or annoyed. We were on a sight seeing tour with a-boot 12 people eh.. hehe.. everyone from different states and countries, all nice strangers. Our tour guide suggested helicopter rides to get a better view of the Falls. No one said anything, my wife and me looked at each other, shrugged, and said.. "eh, we a-boot to do something stupid" people looked at us like, "they gonna die" Lol Got tickets, waited to board the choppa, and all while having slight fear of heights. Dang, eh.. Oh oh Not to worry, the staff here is very professional. They take safety very serious. They won't tolerate any crap that would put anyone's life in danger especially the pilot who will show you the amazing and beautiful scenery. Truly a once in a lifetime thing. When we got back to our tour bus people started to talk to us. They wanted to see pictures and know about the experience. We told them all it was epic! Not even stories are better than the experience, don't let it pass you by. Pricy? Yes, but we were there, idk when we'll be able to come back. Dangerous? Everything has it's flaws. Be sure to BRING YOUR CAMERA WITH YOU. The photos I took from this helicopter and showed to my family and friends made them think I should take up photography, because the views you get are unbelievable, breathtaking, and spectacular. Not worth $120!!! The ride was a grand total of 8 minutes in the air. The view from the 4 back seats is not good most of the time. We had planned to wait for the next helicopter so we could get seated in the front, however they refused to let us wait for the next one (despite being told after purchase we could go "whenever we were ready".) Their reasoning behind this was that they "can't take half-full rides because of fuel costs". Didn't buy that for a second - they're making over $600 per 6-passenger ride. Guy just wanted to be a jerk about it. We went to go back inside to wait, because there wasn't anyone waiting behind us anyway, and they again said we were not allowed to wait. After our extremely short ride with the unimpressive view from the back seats, I noted who was boarding next: A party of 3. 3 people, total. So much for the story that they "can't" take half full rides. TOTAL BS!! Customers don't appreciate being lied to. I would not recommend this company. Definitely worth the money!!! My wife, 20 month old son and myself took a flight over Niagra(4/2/2019) and boy was it worth it. We were hesitant at first with our son being so young. It was either going to be pleasurable or a disaster! We waited about 15 mins after paying to actually take off but it wasnt a bad wait. Before the flight took off i was worried about it being a rough ride with a 1 1/2 year old on my lap. After getting in the air, all of those concerns were alleviated. The rode was pretty smooth for a cold and windy day. The pilot actually tilta the bird to the sides so you could see Niagra Falls easily opposed to having to lift out of your seat to see. The ride was about 15-20 mins which was excellent. Its a narrated flight and excellent for photos and views. I cant say enough about it and the photos taken before you depart on your flight are actually GOOD! All and all, i would do this again and recommend. Plus they honored the discount we had from the Butterfly Conservatory that we had. read more

My wife and I enjoyed our helicopter ride, it was fun and exhilarating. The staff were cordial and helpful. I would have given it a rating of 5 if it wasn't for the fact that my wife and I were seated in the middle, between 2 guys (the chopper has 4 rear seats and 3 front seats for passengers). My wife is 5'4" and she was hoping for a window seat to take pictures of her experience, instead she was seated in the rear between me and some guy who was next to the window, she couldn't even reach to see nor take pictures. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The website states they are open until SUNSET. We drove over 2.5 hours to Niagara ONLY for this helicopter ride to arrive at 4:10pm and they claim they are closed at 4pm. We met 3 other couples in the parking lot with the same experience expecting their business to be open until 7pm or sunset LIKE THEIR WEBSITE CLAIMS. The employees were rude and dismissive. Claimed their employees couldn't work "overtime" but there were two other groups still waiting for their rides at 4:15pm. Highly upset and disappointed in this business and their staff! read more

We had a wonderful experience - with one big exception. We were supposed to go up the helicopter on December 31 but the tour was canceled due to poor visibility. We were advised to return the following day. However, Alison (who sells souvenirs there) told us not to come back early and if we did show up before 1 pm, "I won't like you". When we came back on January 1, there were many groups ahead of us (who showed up early). Alison was extremely rude and never smiled once - a poor reflection on an otherwise good operation. read more

We pulled up into the parking lot . Seemed empty . Walked into the main building and had to wait on line for 10 minutes. Only instruction I was given was to walk through red doors. And from there everything just went downhill . No one told me to wait on line. Was there a sign ? No No one told me how long the wait was Was there a sign ? No No one told me any instruction as to what to do before I get on the helicopter Was there a sign or maybe even a pamphlet? Nope We were 6 people (3 couples ) 2 of the couples had already done this before and where kind enough to explain a little to us . One couple was a little scared of heights and said they wanted to sit in the back (last time they sat in the back) the other couple didn't mind sitting in the back either .Once it came to our turn to board the helicopter, the staff members were completely unprofessional. As me and my husband were about to go the front of the aircraft a staff member pointed at the couple who was afraid of heights. I tried motioning to him that if he was gonna choose somebody chose any other couple besides the one that was afraid of flying in the first place . He didn't listen and shoved me toward the other door . As we started seating, staff members began buckling us in. Again completely unprofessional one guy named Jake practically manhandled me ! This was the first time I went flying the experience was beautiful. The place disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to ever fly with . Unless it isn't your first time, you enjoy being clueless the entire time, and enjoy being manhandled. read more

Lots of fun. Best advice, DONT TAKE PICTURES and DONT ALLOW SOMEONE TO HAND YOU THERE CAMERA AND STEAL YOUR TIME UP THERE (It's limited). Enjoy the views. It's very expensive and seeing it and feeling it and being in the moment is truly amazing. Really could see everything from this tour. This is a once in a life time opportunity to see one of natures awesome displays from a totally refreshing view. Staff was nice and friendly and helpful. The pictures were expensive though as they try to get a group shot of you outside the copter and inside just before take off. They cost $25 for one picture. Terrible experience! we traveled 7 hrs just for this ride, we waited 20 mins for our turn, we were brought out to the loading zone in 30 degree weather, we waited for an additional 15 mins only to have them "TELL" us they were letting another familly go ahead of us, this would have added 40 mins to our plans that we just did not have, had to catch a plane, we asked for a refund and left. I cannot express how we were handled, just really an awfull experience, Im not sure if was because we were american or my girlfriend is first nation (native american). My advice, plan 2 hrs there to compensate for this kind of situation, sure the ride is beautiful, I wouldnt know.... there is a pilot on the american side, if I do it again I will plan around thier hours of operation... Would NOT recommend. Came in and was told they still had tickets available, the wait was an hour, and to just step into the ticketing line. We were excited but as soon as we stepped into the ticketing line we were told that apparently there was no space left for the day because a group of 55 people had reserved all the tickets (even though they said they didn't take reservations when we had called earlier in the day). We said we had just been told literally 2 seconds earlier that we could definitely get tickets. They said it was because the first staff member didn't know about the reservation? Poor communication between staff members and rude ticketing staff made for a horrible experience at this place. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere. read more

Zum Geburtstag hatte ich meiner besseren Hälfte einen Gutschein für einen Rundflug geschenkt - vor Ort haben wir diesen dann auch eingelöst. Wir hatten uns nicht vorher angemeldet und kamen trotzdem schon kurz nach unserer Ankunft dran. Da sonst niemand da war, hatten wir quasi einen Exklusivrundflug. Man wird zum Helikopter gebracht und vom Personal angeschnallt. Das Geburtstagskind durfte sogar vorne sitzen und hat sich mächtig gefreut. Kopfhörer noch aufgesetzt und schon geht es los. Die Stimme über Kopfhörer erzählt Details über die Landschaft, man erhebt sich schnell in die Lüfte - ich hatte kein bisschen Angst, man fühlt sich sehr sicher - und fliegt zu den Fällen. Der Ausblick ist einmalig - atemberaubend! So kann man die Fälle nur von oben sehen - mit Sicherheit die beste Aussicht! Obwohl der Flug nur gut 10 Minuten dauert, haben wir in total genossen. Wir haben zig Fotos geschossen und sind nach wie vor total begeistert - ein echtes Highlight während unseres Urlaubs! read more

I decided to do a Helicopter 'tour' over Niagara Falls one morning while visiting. I hate flying and hate heights so surprised myself when I found myself sat in the front seat of a Bell Helicopter taking off from just outside Niagara. After my initial terror, I found the flight fantastic. As I was also sat in the front with the pilot I had a magnificant view of the falls and also found the pilot and flying fascinating. The view seriously is unparrelled, its amazing from above. The tour wasn't cheap but in my view was worth every single penny I spent. Without hesitation I would recommend this and I would also jump at the chance to do it again. At the end of the flight (about 10 mins) we were given the opportunity to purchase a huge photo of us in the helicopter with pictures of the falls surrounding this which I did. The depot for the flight is actually just outside Niagara Falls so you would either need a car or to take a taxi read more
