Our visit to Niagara Falls KOA took place from 9/11 - 9/15 2023, in a Deluxe Cabin (Kabin 2). arrival and check in went smoothly and was fast. Wechecked in just after 6, and a very kind gentleman advised us our keys were in the cabin and it was unlocked. I should mention we travel with two large dogs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, our best boy is 9 but his compadre Annie is an8 month old hooligan. on entering the cabin, we found it to be immaculate. Linens were snowy white, bedbug check was negative (I always worry), stovetop, refigerator, and microwave were sparkling clean, all the furnishings were pristine. Bathroom was totally clean and sanitized. This is a 28 foot deluxe, is supposed to sleep 6. There is a tiny bunk alcoveon the left, very difficult to make the beds up. the central area features a table, four chairs, a sofa (bed) and the small kitchen area, fridge, two burner cooktop, sink and microwave. zero counterspace. on top of the fridge are 1 small shelf and a top shelf, with a single serve Keurig, four K Cups to start, and dried coffee condiments. it is hard to reach and operate, but it's there, and we had brought our own coffepot, so no matter. the kitchen has drawers and cabinets equipped with everything needed, glasses, mugs, dishtowels, silverware, plates, bowls, pots and pans (3). The bathroom is tiny but came with abundant towels, washcloths, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. the tub itself is miniscule and sits well up off floor level. Use extreme caution getting out, because the floor is not where you think it should be... on the right of the central area is a queen bedroom. Bed is comfortable and lotsof pillows are provided. All the rooms in the cabin have pocket doors. There is a tv over the table area but the cable selection is a bit basic....but yes, you are supposed to be camping. the campground itself is outstanding. great selection of sites, landscaping is well kept and beautiful throughout. seems to be plenty for the kids to do. Three pools, one indoor. Mining Co to sift through gem bags, craft cabin, nice playgrounds , bike rentals. Dog friendly? Yes. There are three " dog parks" withinthe campground. One does not deserve the name as it barely qualifies as a dog crate, it's about 6 ft x 6 ft. And it is so adjacent to an actual campsite you have to go on the sit in order to access it. There is a mid sized, about 30 x 40 feet between the big pavillion and the playground which is better. The largest, maybe 30 x 100 feet is way in the back corner behind some primitive tent sites. It is large enough for big dogs to run and play. However, the gate latch is broken so you have to tie it shut with a leash. Camp store is terrific. Staff are competent and pleasant.the place feels like you are actually out in nature even though it is nestled in a high traffic urban tourist area. Highly recommend! read more

A nice, modern campground with a wide variety of sites to choose from. We had a pull through patio #162 located near the back of the park. Fully landscaped with trees! Also very close to the dog park! Laundry was also close by as we needed it! Only 10 minutes from the falls and boarkwalk area. read more

this is our first rv trip. we were originally in maine at national parks in acadia. coming then to KOA, i was really put off by the amount of people packed into the rv park. it was fairly crowded in my opinion. you can def hear your neighbors' conversations. there are lots of people to say hi to. youre not in the wild at all. on the plus side though, there are so many amenities for the kids. indoor pool, wading pool, outdoor large pool. multiple playgrounds. a pillow pad for jumping. lots of activities--like our weekend they were offering tie dye tshirts crafting and outdoor movies. there is a general store for shopping with food and souvineers. they have firewood for $12 which includes tax and delivery to your rv. both our sons had the best time. our spot came with a firepit ring and a picnic table. full water and full elec. this location is really close to niagara falls. outside this KOA, i would describe it as "touristy". there is a space themed motel across the street. you're not out in the wild and can't live out any nomadland fantasies. there is a grocery store close by outside the KOA and lots of restaurants and fast food. i dont know if we'll visit a KOA again, anytime soon but if youre a family that does need onsite activites, i do highly rec this location. there is sunshine. there are birds chirping. read more

Hands down, great campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It had 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The cabin was very clean and linens were provided. The cabin had a keurig and provided 2 regular k cups, 1 tea and 1 decaf. There was a blow dryer and air conditioning. Overall, it was comfortable. Outside, there was a picnic table and 2 seated glider. I spent every morning have coffee on the glider. FYI: there is a grocery down the street for the essentials. There are a lot of activities for kids and this is close to Clifton Hill. There are 2 pools that were in good condition and my kids loved the playground and bouncy pillow. We were actually frustrated because the kids would rather hang at the camp ground than do family stuff. There is a nice size shop with a lot of things if you forget anything and there is a restaurant/ bar at the front in the campground. One weird thing is that it is surrounded by a busy commercial area but you honestly don't feel like it when you are in the campground. It was nice when I went for morning runs to have a sidewalk outside the campground. The only down side of the campground was the WiFi was spotty at best. We can't really knock down the rating because of it because we were camping. If you are from outside Canada, you'll want to make sure you get a data plan. Hands down, we would come back. This campground was amazing, my family and I had such a great time. *Great location for our Niagara Falls visit.* They have a huge playground, wagon ride, heated indoor pool, spa and two heated outdoor pools, jumping pillows, mini golf basketball, and yes Free Wifi. We started out tenting here but due to rain moved to their Hotel room up front. The facilities are top notch and clean. The Hotel room had everything including dishes, microwave, Coffee pot, etc... Go straight down Lundy's Lane and you are at Falls View in the hub of things. read more

Niagara Falls KOA - Black Squirrel on the grounds. Not seen in the US - Campgrounds Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

First the good: It's super clean. The people are amazing. You can purchase the Adventure Pass and use the bus to get to the falls (saving on parking) and as long as you don't use the bus until you return at night, you can get basically 3 days out of it because the 48 hours doesn't start until you scan the official pass, vs the paper one they give you at the campground. They have a great playground and lots of stuff for kids to do. The campground is as far away as you can get from the falls and still use the bus system. The shortest time to the falls was 25 min, the longest 45 - one way. It is next door to a train track and trains run really late and REALLY early and apparently need to blow their horns constantly. There were huge groups of people, all parking in circles, sort of camper and/or tent cities. The groups played music constantly and went way past 10PM curfew. The sites are very small, so we could sit inside our pop-up and hear the neighbors at their campfire word for word. The wi-fi is spotty/horrible. Very weird combination of lovely and torturous. read more

Fantastic KOA experience if you're looking to camp near Niagara Falls. Clean bathrooms with plenty of showers, lots of activities for kids and families, 2 pools indoor and out, and friendly staff. We stayed in the tent village and loved having the peace of mind that there was a shelter in case it rained. Staff was awesome and we had two incidents that needed help, changing a light bulb and removing an ant nest, both of which were taken care of very quickly. Yes, you do hear the main road and the trains in the morning, and it's not really like camping in a forest, but if you like KOA you will love this location. Had no issues with noisy people (other than a barking dog scaring off a raccoon) and we saw the staff patrolling at night to ensure quiet hours were enforced. Would definitely recommend this spot to campers that are looking to do touristy things in Niagara. read more

Niagara Falls KOA - A look at Tent Village's shelter - Campgrounds Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

An amazing experience over all. Easy check in and check out process. Kind helpful staff. The washrooms were AMAZING. I just wanted to take a shower for 5 hours if I could because of how nice and clean it was. We had a campground w Tents so the only thing I'd say is that I wish there were more grass on the ground as opposed to dirt and mud. Fun karaoke and jump pad and bicycle rental made the entire stay memorable and fun. Would def visit again. The only downfall is the dirt like I said and we got the extra electricity and water but the storage unit and bench picnic area was dirty. Wish those were cleaner. read more

This campground is a very fun. It has lots of activities for kids. You can swim, bike, play at the playgrounds, and you can do a cool mining activities were you can get gemstones. Our campground is spotless, not a single piece of trash in sight. The KOA takes Care of this place well. it can be loud at night despite having a quiet time. 4/5. read more

Overall we liked this campground a lot. Good location, the staff were great, and it conveniently has a WeGo bus stop right in front for easy access to Niagara Falls attractions. I would be hesitant to stay here again for two things; first, they have three pools, they should designate at least one for adults only. With as many people staying here there wasn't anywhere for adults to go without screaming kids and getting constantly splashed. Second, their WiFi absolutely blows. I know that's common in campground life still, but there's really no excuse anymore for bad WiFi. And when it did work it was abysmally slow. It's almost as if they want to advertise free WiFi but not invest in what it takes to make it actually work. It's 2019, step up your game. read more

We camped here for 4 nights and 5 days. The grounds were spotless. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was quite spacious complete with water and electricity. The activities were abundant! We hope to make this an annual trip! It was worth the 8 hour drive! read more

We stayed while visiting the falls. Kids enjoyed the pool and jumping pillow. The campground was very crowded, packed in and noisy at night. They sell bus passes and some tour tickets, also located on the bus route. It was convenient to stay here while visiting the falls. We were away all day each day. WiFi did not work during our stay. They apologized and said it was a new provider. Gentleman staff worker who was on the golf cart was really nice. I felt like it was overpriced compared to the other KOA campgrounds we stayed at. read more

This was our first KOA experience. It's a great place to stay with kids. Playground, bikes, bounce pillows, and a wading pool make for happy kids. It's nice that they pick up trash. However, you're basically pitching your tent in a big parking lot. We were at the very back of the property and I could still hear road noise at night. The quiet hours didn't seem to be very respected by the other campers. I don't know that we'd use KOA again as we like more space and privacy when we camp. But, it's an awesome place to take kids and ours certainly enjoyed the amenities. read more

This campground is in about the best location you can get. There is a WEGO stop right at the entrance that will take you to all the attractions near the falls and if you travel the other direction it's very near dozens and dozens of great Wineries. It seems that they have started renovating some of the washrooms. The ones that have been done are great. There is one that we were using that did have some quite a lot of ants especially if you go early in the Morning. This would never stop us from returning on our next trip to Ontario however. We can't say enough about the staff as well. Thanks especially to Chloe and Skylar who were instrumental with their expert advice on keeping our days filled with great adventures. On another note. When you purchase firewood here you get some FIREWOOD. It's good quality and a very nice amount. Most KOA's we have been to provide you enough for about 30 minutes of fire. read more

This KOA is as advertised with many amenities and the bath houses are very clean and modern.

We stayed for one night last summer. We have stayed at many other koas and will never stay at this location again. We had a small cabin, which is what we generally get. The houses were so close together, main road right in front of house and pools on other side...never again! Also, the cabin smelled. I've never really had a bad koa but this koa cares nothing more than fitting as many people in as possible...to heck with any sense of privacy! Felt like a sardine can. read more

Wifi here is terrible but activities are endless. One of my kids needed the wifi and was disappointed. One pool is located right next to the entrance which I found odd. Other than that it was ok. read more
