The campgrounds are well maintained, roads are gravel and each permanent trailer spot has a good size plot of land. You feel comfortable enough to spread out a little and enjoy. As a community people are friendly and there are lots of families and the sounds of laughter and general good mood. The facilities include a splash pad that is extremely impressive, a heated pool, a playground, a natural pond, a hot tub, a picnic pavilion, a general store, a volleyball court, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, an outdoor chapel, walking trails, activity rooms and children's activities on the weekends. For weekend campers they also have washrooms in site. This is a great campground.

Make sure to bring water, sunscreen and hat or umbrella. The trails were pretty well kept and had a mix of shade and unshaded areas. Most of the trails and picnic areas were pretty quiet and looked to be not very busy. I think there were some parts of the trails that were off leash dog areas. When we were there, the barn area wasn't really opened to the public (in terms of looking inside them).

This is a nice park with lots of hiking trails and lush woods, offering plenty of shades on a sunny day. The only trail that allows you to go down to the creek is #6 Half Moon Valley Trail. I would also recommend #4 Lookout Ravine Trail which is almost completely covered by trees and would be beautiful in the fall. You shouldn't miss the famous White Oak Tree, likely germinated since 1685 and at least 300 years old, close to parking lot A. The Spruce Lane Farmhouse is another highlight near parking lot F, which is a Victorian-style house showing visitors what life was like back then. The antique furniture, well-decorated rooms, farm equipment, and friendly volunteers wearing Victorian costumes gave us an immersive experience at the farm. The only problem is that the amenities are a bit dated, especially with the signage. The park staffs should hand out free maps as you enter the park, and there should be more directions as to where you are. I often had to rely on Google to check location and the pre-downloaded map from their website. The swimming pool remains under renovation as of summer 2024, so the park is not yet at its full potential.

This place attracts many sorts of men but they all seem welcoming and non-judgemental. A safe and positive place for muscle men, chubs, bears, otters and everyone else. In normal (non covid times) there are always good company around the pool which was replaced this year with an even more beautiful pool. Bon fires, community centre. Come and party as hard as you like, or choose a remote corner and have a quiet nest. This place is everything you make of it. We love it and find waiting for it to open up again hard. Of course if you're looking for a bare bones provincial or national park experience, this might look expensive. For us, and our friends, it's a bargain... a whole weekend, entertainment included, for the cost of one night in a decent hotel.

Unbelievable lack of empathy during a medical emergency!…read more I had a fully prepaid booking at The POINT Resort for Aug 31. Two days before arrival, I ended up in emergency surgery for acute appendicitis. Obviously, I couldn't travel. I contacted them right away, explained what happened, and offered to send over my hospital discharge papers. Tom from their team just sent back a generic copy-paste reply saying "sorry, 6-day policy." No option to reschedule, no credit for a future stay, not even a partial refund - just a cold refusal. I get that policies exist, but this wasn't a change of mind, it was a sudden hospital admission. We didn't use any of their services, yet they kept every single penny. It's deeply disappointing to see a resort care so little about its guests when something unexpected happens. Proceed with caution if you book here - if life happens, they won't care.

The cabin we stayed in was comfy for our family of 5 and included a full bathroom with shower. It is still a camping experience so while you have a sink and coffee maker, there is no indoor grill or microwave. Everything was clean. We utilized the outdoor grill and fire pit nightly. Quiet hours were from 10pm-8am I appreciated all of the space in the cabin and strong AC. My only complaint is our mattress was a little hard so it wasn't the best sleep I've had, but overall these are above average accommodations for a camp ground. We enjoyed the accessibility of the site. You could easily walk to all of the amenities. If you are seeking amenities and things to do HTR will have you covered. We enjoyed the pool, mini golf, laser tag, kayak rentals, craft making hours, pedal bikes, and trails during our 4 night stay. All of these activities were included! Our kids had a blast and had something to do all day. The staff were very kind and really made us feel welcome. We loved the location as it was very close to Niagara Falls and restaurants in the surrounding area when we didn't want to cook on the camp grill. Overall, very happy with our visit and would highly recommend if you are looking for a camping experience without the work.

The general store has a little bit of everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered a lot of family friendly activities. We were there during their harvest festival weekend. They offered hay rides and cider and donuts by their bon fire the first night we were there. Almost all of their activities are included. They charge a fee for their zip lines. They offer free pedal bike usage alongwith boat usage. It is conveniently located to Niagara Falls. They offer late check-in and even check in for folks who don't have a reservation, if they have availability Saturday morning the store opened at 9 AM a little late for us since we were on the road by 845. We were hoping to buy acup of coffee (they have $2 K-cups).
