Such a pleasant cafe in the grand Cupola Hall of the Museum of Natural History, which was nicely decorated for Christmas - classy white chandelier lights. Service was friendly here - a rare find in Vienna - which is why this is my only 5 star review for Vienna. I was going to get the potato cream soup when the server said that their frittatensuppe is special and highly recommended. Wow! Frittatensuppe is a traditional dish and consists of beef broth topped with rolled up and then thinly sliced strips of pancake, called frittatas. The pancake is not super thin but rather had substance to it and it was golden brown - just the right texture. The serving size was pretty good, and the cost was more than reasonable. Highly recommended. read more
