My company is SF EUROPEAN. I have Nextgear capital for the past year and half and they have been alright till recently when they obviously have no area rep. for San Francisco for dealers who are flooring their cars with them. Kari Sloan's comment to me when I asked via text why they can not deliver proper service to people who are keeping their end of the bargain and find proper help was: "If you are unable to wait for us to find a new rep for the San Francisco market, we would hate to lose your business, but we understand" ? These guys are ruthless, I do not like them. After selling my current inventory, I am not going to purchase any more cars and will pay them off and will be done with them. I have paid them tens of thousands and just dont give 2 sh-ts. Horrible, appalling, rude and entitled. This is how companies go out of business, stupid recless management of their portfolio clients. Run the other way, I have seen this company destroy businesses. My New Rep : Jeremy Smart, was a piece of work..he took over for another rep, that got fired...He was even worse, lying, stringing you along, empty promises, and lack of customer service.. During the epidemic, they dropped or closed credit lines, during the most difficult times..caused multi car businesses to close. They will close your account for no reason.. I did business with them for a few years they made over $650,000 In interest and fees, it's tough to get ahead with them, basically I made them a lot of money didn't get ahead till finally one day we parted ways over 1 Car dispute, best thing ever happened to my business, one thing I learned you can grow your inventory and business much faster Without them, you will own it all soon just have faith and keep on working with what god has given you, I would say start small and grow over 2 years, next gear was like a bad drug for my business, you could easily become dependent On them for inventory when the time gets tough or you just want to have a lot of cars in your inventory, so May I suggest start small and grow fast without them rather then starting big and then going down to nothing. read more

First let me say that we shouldve been more vigilant by doing more research on this company before making contact with them. Ill try to make this short. We spoke with them and they talked a nice talk and went over how their floor plan works. It sounded like a great opportunity for us to be able to elevate our car dealer business. They sent us a loan application, we filled it out then signed it electronically. We also sent in copies of our drivers license, dealer license, etc. They reached out to us saying that they needed us to hand sign the application. We hand signed it and emailed it back to them. They called us again and said that our signatures from our drivers license does not match the signatures on the loan. They then said to digitally sign the application again. We digitally signed and sent it back and that still wasnt good enough so they asked us to do something weird. Thats when my radars went up! Googled them and read all of the bad reviews and was so thankful that they gave us a hard time with the loan application. What intrigued us was that one particular review we read mentioned how they were very rude and unprofessional. Well after typing up an email to inform them that we longer were interested in doing business with them, we quickly got a phone call from Robert Patterson. He asked why did we not want to move forward with them and we told them that red flags were up and they were giving us a hard time. Mr. Patterson said dont waste their time. Dont be mad Robert because we caught on to your scam. You wasted our time truly. When you write your signature on your drivers license, you use a stylus. When you hand write your signature, you use a pen. So of course the signatures will look a little different. It is all good. God was truly looking out for our family. We want to pay it forward just like the others whove posted reviews on this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! read more

I had never heard of this company until today. I was in the process of selling my Mercedes AMG GT S. The buyer tried to get an exact payoff amount from Bank of America, but BofA stated that Next Gear had already paid off the loan that morning. I called Next Gear they refused to tell me who had initiated this pay off. I spoke to a supervisor and expressed my concern that this was some sort of fraud going on, and the supervisor hung up on me. I still don't know if this is part of some fraud, and I had never heard of Next Gear before today. Is this even a legitimate company? read more

NextGear Capital offered employees a prize ... IF we write a positive review online. My friend and co-worker at Nextgear got fired the day after he politely suggested that "it might be unethical to incentivise leaving positive reviews." THEY FIRED HIM for suggesting that paying for Glassdoor reviews might be unethical. For well over a year, I worked with NextGear and by all accounts I was a great employee. I was recently terminated, so I will now leave an honest review (I'm sorry that I didn't have the courage to leave such a review before when my job was on the line). I knew then that employees, IF discovered that they left a less-than-positive review of the company, were promptly terminated (for some unrelated reason). A wise co-worker of mine quit the day before I was fired, and he received the 2017 bonus. He knew that NextGear was firing employees before the issuing of the bonus, and by doing so NextGear could save money. Since they fired me for an error in one of my 2017 files that they (conveniently) discovered just before issuing the bonus in February 2018, I did not get the bonus. Had I known they were gonna pull this shit, I would've quit. I was told that if I made an error, that would be fine and I would NOT need to worry about being terminated. Cause for termination? An error made in 2017. For what it's worth, I make fewer errors than my teammates, and I've often corrected their errors and filed their reports without mentioning it to anyone. Because I consider them my friends. The man who got promoted over me made the same errors that I was terminated for--only he made significantly more errors than I made. He got promoted and I got terminated for one error. When I asked what the mysterious error in that report back in 2017 was, the HR girl said she did not know. The way the audits are done and errors are found and reported is biased and political. Unfair practices all around. I was probably one of NextGear's best employees--others, higher up than me, have said so. Never missed a day of work, always punctual, kept the peace (was the office peace-maker), didn't bring any drama to the office which often was riddled with drama), I kept everything together. At least one superior has told me that she didn't approve of the way this whole debacle (my termination) was handled. Terminated for an error back in November. NextGear patiently waited until February to suddenly terminate me (just before they would've had to pay me the well-deserved 2017 bonus). NextGear would not tell me which report had the error, or what the error was. No bonus. No severance. No 2 weeks notice. I go into work one day, and am told to hit the road because of an error they knew about 3 months prior. In 2017, after an issue in my report was discovered (an issue that cost NextGear a lot of money), all my teammates said, "I would've done the same thing." It was even mentioned that this was clearly company policy. Everything I did in that report was strictly according to company policy, and was considered NextGear Best Practice. But THIS time... ...it cost NextGear money, so they used me as the scapegoat and reprimanded me for it. As a result of that event, NextGear changed its policy (after formally reprimanding me for following their then-current company policy). The coding report said, "This is a recurring issue." (of course basing that term "recurring" on the fact that I was reprimanded before for following NextGear policy and doing exactly what NextGear trained me to do, and exactly what every one of my teammates would've done). "You have issues with not filing." I will take responsibility if I've done something wrong. ...but that was NOT my fault. They said that was the reason I got written up, "got coached." And the reason why I wasn't promoted to lending service 2. NextGear sat on this "filing error" for months before firing me (the next year). It's a dirty way to get rid of somebody. read more

Discriminatory Lending at its Finest!! I was approved for a $50k line of Credit in Dec. 2019, Everything was good until my Rep found out who I was, she immediately locked my account and went on vacation and would not unlock my account until I met with her. After meeting with her it was obvious she had a problem and it had to do with another dealer whom I had worked for who had defaulted but only after they let them get $60k out of wack and it wasn't until I notified corporate that they even had a clue what was really going on. Well fast forward 3months , my account is in good standing, I had made every payment as agreed, even though everytime I tried to floor a vehicle I had to call my rep and get her to unlock my account. So Covid Hits and im told everyone's account is being locked so I had to go 2 months without buying anything but I was still selling cars so my inventory is pretty much depleted. The end of May Covid lifts but my account is still locked. I'm unable to buy anything but yet I still have curtailments coming due and I managed to still pay them up until July even though I had very little inventory and was unable maintain a sales quota. So I filed a complaint with corporate and instead of someone from corporate contacting me, my complaint was forwarded to my rep. Very unprofessional. So do yourself a big favor and never use NGC, they can and will lock your account at anytime for no reason. They will basically set you up to fail. There should be laws protecting Dealers from Lenders like this. Their contracts are deceiving and only protects them from being sued. They expect you to hold your end of the agreement but they don't hold theirs. DO NOT USE NGC FOR YOUR FLOOR PLAN NEEDS!! GUARANTEED TO SCREW YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS!!! read more

This company was great to work with eight years ago when I started with them. My Rep Andy was the best. He would work with you and make things happen. Lately they have been the worst. The auditors will no longer call you to inquire the whereabouts of vehicles that aren't on the lot, even though it is less than 100 yards away in my repair shop. I used to get txts about payoffs. Now it's only an email which I sometimes don't see right away. They also will take money out of your account for due payments even if you don't authorize it. When business slowed down, they wouldn't work with us about extending the payoff time. When you figure in ALL the fees, you're paying in total over 12% interest . I took an equity loan for 3.5% and am slowly paying them off. No more blind lot audits, and payment deadlines read more

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I never wanted to sign up with them then i did. Huge mistake i should of follow my instincts and stayed the hell away from this POS company. Sales Rep will lie so they can make commission, the reps you speak to will always tell you " Call your Rep" your rep doesn't help and feeds you lies while they are in the wrong. A installment is paid for the car and then you get hit with another $1000 out of the blue. then they refund you that $1000 causing you to be out of pocket and waste your time and hear nothing but lies. Then you don't log onto next gear for a few days and boom they put a car that was just purchased to be paid off in full. and since you signed with ACH now you have to pay NSF to them and your bank because you weren't expecting an ACH out of the blue. Oh you want an invoice the day before you have to pay for it.... HAHAHA they laugh at you. that is not what you signed up sir. so you charge the dealer out of the blue and i did not put that car to be paid off and now out of the sudden in your system shows that i did put that car to be paid off?
