On time and very professional. We had an unidentified leak in my mother-in-law's front yard. Paul,…read morefrom Stedman's Plumbing, arrived on time and worked to identify and fix what turned out to be a water main leak. I felt taken care of and not taken. Rare these days. I would certainly call Stedman's Plumbing again in the future.

My elderly (86 yrs young) mother used American Home Shield (AHS) last Friday when she found a water…read moreleak outside between her manufactured home and the water heater shed. AHS told her a plumber would contact her within 24 hrs. Keep in mind this is a ranch with livestock that needs water. Steadmans Plumbing finally contacted her on Monday to set up an appointment for Tuesday. He showed up on time and took a look at the leak, then wanted $250 ( beyond what AHS was paying) to remove 5 screws to remove a section of the skirting (member the leak is outside and very easily seen and accessed). He stated he had to update AMS before any repairs were to be made and left. On Thursday I contacted AHS to question why it wasn't repaired on Tuesday, they then told me the plumber requested 10' of open access. I dont know of any home with 10' of open access under the house. I fixed it this morning in less than 15 min, Pex tubing is extremely easy to work with, and never had to access under the house. It was leaking at an old coupler from about 10 yrs ago when she had the water heater removed and intanthot water installed. he was aware of where it was leaking because he wrapped it with black plumbers tape. I cant help but feel he was more than happy to try to take advantage of an elderly woman out in the country. $250 to remove 5 screws and 10' of access that was not necessary. I dont know who dropped the ball on the 24 hr contact but my mother was left in a bad situation with no water for livestock and having to make arrangements for someone to haul 100 gal of water daily.

Drain Guru plumber, guy hired another plumber business (Parker and Parker) to come to my home to…read morefind the leak. The P&P came in unscrewed 2 screws from panel under dishwasher. He showed me the leak was from the dishwasher. I had to paid P&P $160. because the guru guy could not unscrew 2 screws. Thereafter I had to pay guru guy $205. for his joking around, talking silly, he asked me if I painted, I said yes then I realized he was snooping in the other room where I have my art supplies. He put one valve under sink water pipe, called in 2 guys to remove dishwasher, they left grease skid markers on our new floor planks, guru guy had a few more corny jokes and it seems that he stayed a long time doing nothing. FINALLY he left. I am physically challenged and I feel that guru guy took advantage of me by hiring P&P needlessly. Later when I purchased a dishwasher (it's still not installed) I text guru guy and asked...as a curtesy can you connect the 3 electrical wires to the dishwasher? He bulked with a long he tirade to charge me again for connecting 3 wires. I know how to connect 3 wires, I'm not lame yet my hesitation is that there is a connection with a water hose from the dishwasher to a water pipe under the sink. I can't afford guru guy & possibly he brings in another plumber to connect 3 wires...of course, I would have to pay both guys. Honestly, I feel scammed. Its up to people to hire who they want but trust me on this...I DO NOT RECOMMEND drain guru.

Well 1 year later we had sewage coming up in our laundry room. We called a plumber out and he said our septic was full. The plumber said that Wright's lies to us about only being accessible to one kid for our septic he said there should be two lids easily accessible. I dug it up myself this time and found out that Wright's lied and only dug up one side of the septic tank and also the part they said was under the patio was a lie it was right next to the other lid of my septic. I called Ernie's septic in Porterville and they came out to my house and did a lot of extra work just because they felt sorry for the experience we went through with Wright's septic. I've done some investigating and found out I'm not the only person that's had problems with them. Good luck to whoever needs help and I've never posted anything like this before but I had to let other people no what there getting into with WRONGS instead of Wright's.

From the owner: The purpose of a septic tank or system is to treat the wastewater that accumulates at a home or…read morebusiness. The average setup is a combination of a tank for solids and a drain field. The drain field removes the contaminants from the liquid waste that is brought to the septic tank. The tank and drain field, coupled with the associated piping, make up a complete septic system. If you're buying a home with a septic system in place, an escrow inspection may very well be in order. Contrary to popular belief, a septic tank will normally remain quite full. Servicing of tanks is meant to be utilized in the prevention of buildup or sludge in the tank. Typically, septic tanks are inspected every three years by a septic specialist. Your septic specialist can recommend how often your tank needs servicing by septic tank contractors, though there are some warning signs to keep in mind: Slow flow or sluggishness when the toilet is flushed A gurgling noise emanating from the plumbing Strikingly greener grass that is faster growing in a single area Unpleasant or unbearable odors
