I easily found several stores with good options for stability athletics shoes where the soles can be removed and replaced with my orthotics. I had difficulty finding dress shoes that could be like that for work though. One of my colleagues at work suggested that I check out The Good Feet Store. I made an appointment easily online and received a video that walked me through the free measurements to help produce arch supports. I realized that wasn't what I was looking for as I already have my medical-grade orthotics. When I brought this up to my colleague, she suggested I keep my appointment and look at the stability shoes on display on the wall and explain about having already received orthotics. I planned to do that. When I arrived just in time for my appointment, I saw two employees helping two other people. I waited a few minutes, and one of the employees took a break from helping someone to come over to me. One employee came over to check me in and then I shared that I already had orthotics that my doctor helped me create. I had to repeat that a few times as that employee thought that I was referring to generic orthotics or soles that you can buy in a store. He showed me the stability shoes they had in store which were all athletic shoes, but he didn't have any suggestions or recommendations of places I could go to in order to find stability dress shoes or even dress shoes where the soles are removable (to use orthotics). I was disappointed that he didn't even try to find anywhere to recommend though I understand that he wanted to get back to whomever he was helping before the time of my appointment. While I wasn't impressed with the service I received, the store is helpful for those needing assistance with their feet, especially if they haven't already received medical-grade orthotics from a doctor. To learn more about their arch support system and to make a free appointment for a free personalized fitting, simply go to https://www.goodfeet.com and enter your zip code and a date/time for an appointment. They do welcome walk-ins, and the system is HSA/FSA eligible. On the website, you can also learn about their company, their fitting process, testimonials from experts and past customers, information about their limited lifetime warranty, and more. At the end of the day, it's important to take care of your feet, and I'm grateful there are stores around to assist customers in doing so.

I've had to use a knee/leg brace for many months after multiple surgeries for the past 12 years. My current brace was built specifically for me. Manjiro was so thorough in all aspects of fitting me for the brace and how to wear it correctly once it was delivered to the clinic. Manjiro told me to come back when I could find a pair of shoes to fit the foot portion of the brace. I promptly went to a shoe store, bought a pair of appropriate shoes, and went right back to the clinic to have him check the shoe and brace for a proper fit. Norma had no problems letting me come back to the office after I had been gone for about 40 minutes. She has always been so very understanding and kind when I've needed help. She made appointments for me with great care and kindness. She called me quickly when she found out about delays with the manufacturer for the prosthetic device. She also double-checked with me and my insurance company to make sure that I knew what my financial obligation, if any, was due from me. Manjiro and Norma have always been very professional and caring to me with my individual needs. I would highly recommend using this clinic for medical prosthetic care.

When I went back and showed them asking why it wore out so fast, they said this was very typical and they could remake me new orthotics for $400 more or simply redo the toe part which would've been $200! I said this was totally unacceptable and that these orthotics should've lasted a lot longer. Chuck claimed that this is the material they use but clearly in my mind, it was poor quality to pay that much and have them wear out so quickly. Chuck finally offered to remake the toe part at no cost which I think he should've offered in the beginning. But I declined thinking that if the quality was this poor, I'm only going to have the same problem six months from now and then once again have to pay to have them remade. I have no intention of going back to this clinic, because I think they're more interested in making profits rather than helping their patients.

The most frustrating part has been my interaction with my main therapist post appointment. He assigned exercises in an online portal that comes with videos but one exercise had a broken video, which still hasn't been fixed, and many of the exercises don't tell you what the target muscles are. Furthermore, there is a feedback section with each exercise: I filled out some question after my first workout and never heard back. After contacting my therapist about this he told me it's better to do via email, which isn't very convenient. What's the point of the feedback section. Overall, I just feel like my therapist isn't putting the work in and it's very frustrating.
