The 2nd time NL attempted to clean this out they broke the grate (not shown).

We contracted with Next Level Pavers to rip out our failing concrete driveway, widen and install pavers in its place plus remove and replace the Lanai pavers The job was scheduled for October 2021. We were told the job would take 5 days but in reality, only the lanai was done that quickly and the driveway wasn't completed until November and we were told the driveway did not pass inspection. We went north for the holidays but when we returned in January, the pavers at the apron on the driveway were cracking and one of the pavers in the middle of the driveway had a hole in it. We also discovered that they filled in the pool overflow drain with cement when they did the new coping around the pool. We contacted the company and were assured they would take care of it. One of the employees drilled out a small hole in the cement filled overflow channel which did not go back far enough and did not solve the problem. In the meantime, an inspection took place and the driveway was failed because of cement that was used to fill the space between the pavers and the road instead of macadam. We notified Next Level about this and also said we would like the pavers in the driveway and lanai cleaned and sealed. They came and powerwashed the driveway and lanai but they had to dry for several days before they could be sealed. We had selected the wet look seal and when the techs did the first coat, it looked great for about a week before it faded. At that point, the pavers at the driveway apron had still not been replaced. We called, emailed and texted multiple times about this and were assured those items would be taken care of. This went on for months and then Hurricane Ian came through. As we were cleaning up the mess left behind we realized that water was coming in under the sliders at the back of our house closes to the canal. It turned out that the pavers were pitched towards the house and level with the top of the rails for the slider. So we added that to our punch list. Finally, my husband met with Jason who was clearly annoyed by his insistence that everything be taken care of, including powerwashing and resealing the driveway and lanai. He said he would do the driveway again at no charge but the lanai would cost $800 in cash because he felt the problem was a result of the hurricane. We originally selected Next Level Pavers because of there stellar reviews, knowledge, competitive pricing and resources to do some the extra services that were needed like lifting the lanai frame and then replacing the rails and rescreening the lower section.

Starting off from the beginning trying to contact these people is almost impossible. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was in season and they were busy with other current jobs. When Andres received the down payment of $2,000 in September 2018, it took him almost two months to get in contact with me and inform me when the construction was going to start.  I was told 4-6 weeks until construction would start. It took 8 1/2 weeks. The contract that was established and signed only had prices, no warranties. All of his "warranties" are only words to sell his product. I was guaranteed 7 years when everyone else guarantees 5 years. On the first day of construction within hours, their bobcat machine broke. For a reputable company, you would think their machinery would be better maintained to avoid issues and potential delays in construction. This caused construction to be put on hold and required the bobcat machine to sit in front of my house for two days, until the part could be replaced.  After the  driveway was complete, it was "sealed" only with what I could assume was water. I was told at the time of the down payment, that I would absolutely need to have my driveway sealed, otherwise the bricks would be stained and look dirty. This was additional $225. So of course I went with his recommendation. Shortly after the driveway was sealed, about 6 months, you could start noticing black stains from the street. Along with the noticeable stains, after 6 months also, the bricks started to separate causing weeds the grow throughout the entire driveway. I have to pick weeds about every two weeks. In addition to that, the boarder of the bricks that were cemented in, are lose in some areas. I reached out to Andres October 8, 2019 to complain about the quality of his work. It was requested that pictures were sent of the separated bricks, black stains and lose cement boarder.  Andres received several pictures and responded he will come out to the home and look for himself.  Once we here was, he acknowledged that it needed be fixed. Andres fixed only about 6-7 bricks-free. There was more than 6-7 bricks that needed to be fixed. Andres told me I would need to pay $1508.10. This would include clean and reseal driveway and putting sand between the joints of the pavers. After several emails sent asking for clarification why I needed to pay $1508.10 when he did poor work, acknowledging it himself, I have received no response. In round numbers, I paid $4725 to have my driveway done entirely. Andres is requesting that I pay 1/3 of that ($1508.10 to be exact) to repair the substandard work he did to begin, not even lasting 1 full year. I would never recommend Unlimited Pavers of Southwest Florida, LLC to anyone who is interested in getting their driveway done. They are unprofessional, unreliable and unrepeatable as far as I am concerned.

Matt came over and measured everything out and gave us an estimate. Very fair! No need to negotiate. Everything was done in a very timely manner and Matt's team of guys did a great job cleaning up after themselves. During the demo of the back patio it was brought to our attention that there was a very large extended hole/cave, for lack of a better word, underneath our sunroom. Matt said no worries he could take care of it and fill it in with more concrete. Of course it changed the price but I felt very confident that if this happened with another company it would have really bumped up the price or I would have had to call another company, like one of those companies that lift the foundation and have them come in and fix it before work could be completed. Matt also used fiberglass rebar which my husband and I really liked. Absolutely excellent job. We highly recommend Matt and his crew. We will definitely use him again for our driveway
