CALLED THE POLICE ON MY WHILE I HAD MY 3 yr OLD CHILD. TOLD THEM I WAS ANGRY AND SCREAMING AT EMPLOYEES AND THAT I WAS BLACK. After going through the hassle of dealing with them charging me for service they never rendered, and fees for a new tag I didn't need. I paid the dues to get my registration. Tag agency said they were unable o take it because the name of the business didn't match. They wanted to keep discussing a DVA as if it mattered in my case when I kept telling them I just need something stating I paid my fees to the original name so that I could get my registration. The "Manager" wanted to tell me I shouldn't be telling customers to leave when in fact I should !! They don't care if they sell you a car and the moment you reach 441 it blows up as long as they gained their coins. IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONALISM AND GREAT BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND A PLACE YOU CAN TRUST TO GIVE YOU A CAR IN GREAT CONDITION THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!!!!

Looking beyond that the dealer said the would give me a good value for my trade, which they did. They said the would expertly clean they car inside and out. The agreed upon price was $98k. I contemplated the deal over lunch nearby. One problem is I found the exact same car listed online on carguru for $10k less than they had on the sticker. Why would they try to sell me a car for $10k than they are advertising it for online? I have attached the carguru link. Obviously I passed. The search continues....

Caveat emptor: this will be fairly detailed…read more I bought a used 2015 Porsche GT3 from JLC earlier this summer. Aside from the actual *pricing*, it should be noted that the experience left much to be desired. Here's why... I've bought my last three (3) vehicles from out of state. Call it what you will, but everything, especially cars, tend to go for a bit of a premium here. Hence, JLC being located in FL wasn't really a deterrent as I'm used to doing everything over the phone or online and covering the bases with a well-executed PPI, or pre-purchase inspection. If I'm able to distill my experience with JLC down to one area of dissatisfaction, it's this: they aren't true to their word and they over-promised and under-delivered in virtually every aspect of the process. #1: I was told--no promised--that the GT3, a car whose value is inherently sensitive to "high" miles or additional mileage--was going to be flat-bedded en route to it's two (2) pre-purchase inspections, or PPIs, that *I* paid for upfront. I only found out, after being given the service notes from The Collection in Coral Gables along with the corresponding mileage, that it had been driven around am additional ~80 miles from the time I put down my good faith deposit/earnest money to the time the car was pre-purchase inspected. #2: JLC insisted upon me shipping out my trade-in vehicle, a sweet 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C, prior to finalizing the numbers. I wasn't entirely comfortable with this but they informed me that if I had any discomfort with the deal, they would ship me back my trade-in vehicle on their dime, no questions asked. Free and clear to back out of the deal at any point in the process, they said...okkkkk. They also insisted upon me shipping out my Alfa Romeo 4C on open transport. Here's what happened to the vehicle with the shipper/transport they contracted with (please see accompanying photo!). This damage, extensive as it was, essentially precluded me from getting my car back in one piece "no questions asked" should I want out of the deal or want to back out, right. I mean, their shipping company totally wrecked the hood of the car. ONE THING TO NOTE: If you look at Jumbo Luxury Car's listing (which has since been removed but whose archives remain) and the accompanying AutoCheck report for my Alfa Romeo 4C, the very same one that was damaged big-time during shipment, there is absolutely ZERO indication of that damage anywhere either in the write up or AutoCheck or Carfax. That, dear friends, is highly suspect if not downright deceptive. See, I'm not making things up! #3: Timeline for the run-around May 8th - Wire confirmed initiated and received (email sent and received) by Jumbo May 13th - USPS tracking number for title for Alfa Romeo provided as requested for shipment of vehicle May 15th - [REDACTED] emails me saying he now needs to *receive* the title in order for it to be shipped out, a different requirement than previously indicated, thereby further delaying everything. May 20th - Vehicle picked up at JLC in Florida for transport by Gorban Transport to California May 27th (MEMORIAL DAY) - Vehicle arrives at destination with undisclosed damage (four noticable scratches) not previously indicated and for which I did not initial upon receiving the vehicle. They subsequently paid to have two (2) out of the four buffed and paint-corrected but they cheaped out on it and it's still visible. Please see the attached photos of what their transport company did to my trade-in vehicle and for which they said they would "ship it back" on "their dime" no questions asked. Then, look at their online listing for this very same car and the lack of damage report. Although I was especially upset about them *driving* my car around an additional ~80 miles after being assured it would be flat-bedded transported and *never* driven, every other detail and concern was also handled in a haphazard way and they significantly over-promised and under-delivered on the timelines, impacting me receiving the vehicle in a reasonable timeframe.

The car didn't even make it to the next Friday and the transmission completely stopped working so I was stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours waiting on Alex to come tow the car back to their office to be worked on. They say they offered us a 6 month warranty for certain issues going on with the car. It's now been over a week later since the incident and I still cannot get a clear answer from anyone (not Farrah who works in service, not from sales, or from Alex the owner), all they tell me is they will know more the next day and then the same answer is given over and over. Tomorrow I have a Zoom meeting with my boss for what I am certain is going to be me being Fired from my job because I haven't been able to show up for work in over a week bc I haven't had a car to get to and from work. The entire reason I purchased a car was to be able to work and have reliable transportation to make money--but what I got was a car that ended up having a bad transmission, issues with the power window/sunroof, key fob not working, check engine light on, dull front head light, etc. (a lemon). Luckily there is a Lemon Law in Florida and A good friend who happens to be an attorney who will be helping me if the car is not repaired and returned to me asap. He was incredibly diligent--answered our billion questions (seriously). His patience and professionalism made the whole process feel easy. That said, the dealership itself could use some improvement. The facility felt cramped--too many salespeople hustling for attention in a tight showroom, which made it a bit chaotic at times. It seemed like there were more reps than cars, Art however went the extra mile and met us at our car as soon as we showed up so we weren't fought over by salesmen. If the facility was bigger and less crowded, I might have considered giving a 5 star and for me that's saying a lot being a car dealership. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend working with Art if you're in the market for a new vehicle--his customer service is top tier. Just be prepared for a busy showroom environment. Still, the pros (mainly Art) greatly outweighed the cons for us.

I've taken it in multiple times for service, and the issues weren't addressed properly or new ones kept appearing. At one point, something actually got wedged between the steering wheel and the seat while I was driving, and I almost crashed. That alone was terrifying. The number of recalls has also been insane. It feels like the vehicle is constantly being called back for another problem. I honestly don't understand how anyone would buy a Kia Telluride, especially the Prestige model. It feels like it's held together with glue and duct tape. This has easily been one of the worst vehicle experiences I've ever had. Between the reliability issues and the frustration with service, I would never purchase another Kia again and definitely not from this dealership. Never again.
