The Dynamic Duo The Dream Team The Best that Money Can Buy And the Best Investment You'll Ever Make!

Perspective from a 1st time dad: Apart from family and religion, there are 2 things that I value above everything else. And those are my time and my wallet. Prior to our first appointment, I told my wife that we were going to meet with 3 midwifes and choose the best one. She had already done her research, but of course, I was letting her know about all the tactics that salesman will often do to get a sale. You always get 3 quotes before you make a decision is what I told her. The appointment wasn't even done, and I had already told my wife that Ariana was the one. I didn't need to waste anymore time talking to anyone else or price shopping. Ariana was worth every penny. From start to finish, she has been nothing but professional. Everytime that my wife came home, she would tell me how Ariana made her feel like she can give birth successfully. She was also very encouraging. A lot of labor is mental, and my wife felt energized after every conversation with her. Ariana is extremely intelligent and someone that does not sugar coat things. She keeps it real and what you see is what you get. And all you see is full on professionalism, extreme precision and compassion that leaves you blown away! I love her honesty so much! I come from a large family, so I will be booking Ariana for the next 9 births that, Lord willing, my wife has. Thank you!

Ariana was one of the midwives who cared for me while pregnant and delivering of my second son! She has a cool, calm and collected feel about her which brings such a sense of peace to any expecting mother! She is very knowledgeable. She provides information regarding different tests and options during pregnancy and birth and then leaves the decision to her clients without any judgement about the decision made! We are fortunate to have Ariana as our midwife again for our third baby and are so thankful! We didn't hesitate choosing her as our provider when we found out she started her own practice! Ariana's office is perfect for prenatal visits and she is so accommodating and sweet when I bring my other kiddos! She even has a little snack basket for them to choose something from while they are at the visit! My husband and I are so pleased with her services and would 100% recommend her to anyone needing midwifery services!!

After meeting with many midwives, we chose Ariana to be our home birth expert. Ariana explained the home birth process thoroughly, respected and honored our medical choices and if we ever had any questions or concerns she was only a phone call or text away! She even connected us with our doula Shalin Butterworth who was the perfect fit. Ariana supported our choice to have our 4 year old attend the birth with a sitter and handled his moments of uncertainty with ease, reminded him of his strength and never lost focus on the health of myself and the baby. After baby was born and assessed, she assisted both my husband and I with skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, prepared us a snack and came back to check on us within 24 hours. Then again on day 3 and day 7. She provided the resources for placenta encapsulation and postpartum support. The first week postpartum was significantly easier then it was with our first at the hospital. No being checked, cleared and loaded into a vehicle within hours after giving birth. No in office pediatric appointment 3 days later when my body needed rest and recovery in a private place. Ariana handled everything and our little girl was perfect! If you're looking for a team with expertise, I highly recommend Next Generation Midwifery!

I'm so glad we chose a home birth with Ariana to welcome our first child. Throughout the prenatal care, delivery and postpartum visits I felt heard, supported and truly taken care of. Ariana empowered us to make our own decisions while still taking every medical precaution to ensure we were safe and healthy.

Painful isn't enough to describe the experience. Pregnant with my second son, I didn't want to repeat the experience. Knowing I am likely birth fast again, I wanted to go without pain meds again, with as much help I can get, and natural birth of the planceta. I reached out to Tashina pretty late in my pregnancy. Knowing my situation, she responded to my email right away and managed to squeeze me into her schedule. She did a very thorough interview with me and my husband, fully understood what experience we are looking for and made amazing recommendations. She recommended me with a hospital I wasn't aware of that has great staff and with midwifery care. Since I was late stage pregnant (32+weeks), she pulled all her strings to help the new hospital accept me as a patient. And all the way up until the delivery date, she was only one text/call away for any questions I had. The birth was still painful, but with the midwifery care, Tashina's preparation with me and my husband, the hot tub setup, and her being there as my advocate, the birth was quick, smooth, and no manual extraction of placenta! My second son was almost 8lbs and no tear or stitches. Even weeks after birth, Tashina came visit and always checked in with me to help me with breastfeeding issues, baby colic issues etc. Tashina is so knowledgeable, caring and loving. We will always appreciate her help and she will always be a special person in my second sons life!

I felt absolutely safe and held by her to surrender to birth completely. Moreover, she helped my husband feel confident in supporting me in a natural birth too. All I can hope for is to have her at any of my future births as well! :) Thank you Tashina!

I have some background with working out, like strength training and I've played sports, but that's about it. Overall, highly recommend! I felt amazing after each of these classes. I felt much more limber and generally more calm. For every class, and every move, there were options to make it a bit easier and to account for injuries (which they ask you about before class). Logistics: The studio is located right off Arden and has tons of parking in the lot and along the quiet street. The building and entrance are easy to find. There is paperwork for your first session (very short, one page), so get there a few minutes early to get it done. They have a restroom and necessary equipment available for each class. I brought my own mat and yoga blocks, but used their blanket and pillow (forgot the official name). They ask that you remove your shoes and put them in a cubby before class along with other stuff you brought in. Cubbies are right inside the entrance, they are great at explaining all this. Two of my classes were late morning (9am & 11am) and one evening (6pm). Morning classes had between 4-6 people, but they also are recording an online class for folks at home (only the instructor is on camera, not the class). The evening class had about 11, but it was still insanely comfortable in the room. Customer Service & Vibe: AMAZING. I don't love doing new things because I oftentimes feel like I'm missing something or I won't get explanations and will have to stumble through. None of that nonsense here. They explained the paperwork and a brief overview of what to expect when I asked. Each instructor has asked if I am new to yoga and if I had any injuries, AND they baked that into their instruction! They also each checked in with me after the class to see how I was feeling. Overall Vibe was fantastic. No one made me feel bad for not knowing some of the language, the instructors made sure to include standard terms when describing the moves and how to do them, they even said things like "if you have a bad shoulder, do this instead.." so everyone is taken care of. The other people in the class were also very welcoming and kind. Class Description & Difficulty: *keep in mind, I'm new to this, so these descriptions are my best attempts as a complete newbie. Mindful Mellow Mix w/ Wendy: this class consisted of easier deep stretching, little to no complicated flows (when they go from one move to another to another), with a heavy focus on breathing and relaxation. I fricken loved it! This was my first class at this studio and it was a perfect introduction to yoga. Mindful Mellow Mix w/ Lorna: this class had a bit more movement and standing positions, a few flows that were easy to follow with plenty of room to modify or make it easier. This was an excellent follow up to the previous class. I genuinely enjoyed the option to make things more challenging, but there was no pressure at all. Slow Flow Yoga w/ Lori: this class had more flows, more challenging positions (both sitting and standing), the moves were a bit more complex but she walks you through them SO well and there were plenty of times I watched her do a move before I copied, and no one made me feel like I was going to slow. She also goes through the easiest version of a move and explains options to make it more challenging. There were a few moves I completely modified because I wasn't able to do them and I still felt so strong and limber after the class! She really gives you space to do what you can. I'll be going back to try a few more of their classes!
