I cannot explain in words how wonderful and professional the employees of two men and a truck were. They moved my furniture and fragile belongings without a scratch or dent. Jacob and Shane were very professional and prompt and very hard working. I will definitely use two men and a truck in the future. The employees from the moment I went to speak to them to the time I had moved to Florida were all wonderful. Mike thank you for a great team of employees. I am one happy customer.

Movers broke my furniture, lost pieces and left parts behind preventing full re-assembly. I had to catch and hold a column of wrongly stacked boxes from falling over (large boxes were stacked on top of small). I had to lift and move several items myself (42 yr old mom) with 3 movers on site. It's been nearly 3 weeks after my move and I still have no pillows or bedding - been sleeping on a mattress for 3 weeks. Every night I go to sleep I'm reminded of the moving experience with Two Men and a Truck. I specifically told them which items go inside the new residence and which ones go to storage .... multiple times. My bedding and a number of other items were placed in storage (after being told they go into the new home). Everything is stacked in a 10x10 storage unit and items are buried under boxes and I don't know which items are where. I caught one of the movers carrying on a lengthy conversation with some random person on the sidewalk while being paid $285/ hr. Absolutely NOT worth the nearly $2,000 I was charged and paid for a local move. I gave the movers drinks and snacks half way through the move (because it was hot & I care) which they promptly discarded the bottles and packaging in the street and on the front lawn of my new residence. At the end of it all, I was in tears. I highly recommend to please find a different moving company at a better price. Try Angie's List or check your local storage companies, they usually have recommendations for good movers. The level of experience, care, and professionalism that I was expecting simply was not there. They do not exhibit nor do they honor a so called "Grandma Rule". I emailed about the damages as instructed .... nothing ... but silence. I had quotes from multiple movers and all were lower than Two Men and a Truck. Despite being the highest of all the quotes, I thought it would be worth the extra funds for experienced & professional movers, but that's not what I got. The service was not at all worth the $285/ hr I paid. Save your money and find a better moving company.

In February 2024, I moved from AL to NY. They broke/damaged over 30 items and lost 4 items, 2 were an antique kidney desk and elephant legged coffee table. I had a 125K no deductible valuation policy. I was also told I had 9 months from day of delivery to make a claim. The claims on the 30 lost/damaged items were honored. However, I received 25% of the value I claimed on the 4 lost items because I was supposed to report them lost the day of delivery. I had over 200 items delivered and part of the delivery went directly into storage. I am just writing this review now because I just recently received the check for the lost furniture after filing a dispute and writing the president of the company. They refused to give me the amount that I claimed so the check was for 25%. They really deserve 0 stars. Disgusting.

While planning our move from New Orleans to the Los Angeles area, I searched for a moving company…read moreand was dismayed to find negative reviews of almost every company. We were referred to Allied by Angie's List, and John Fayard was the nearest local affiliate assigned to our project. Their representative Vic came from Gulfport to survey our house and belongings and provided a quote, and even though the quote was a little higher than one we received from another mover, we decided to take the plunge and signed a contract. On the appointed day Arlando and his fabulous crew arrived and worked hard but carefully nonstop for about six hours getting our home into the shuttle truck, which was necessary because the moving van was parked blocks away because it could not drive or park on our narrow street. They then had to transfer everything into the moving van. A week later Arlando met us at our new home and, with the help of a local crew, reversed the process to get everything inside. We also had one car shipped through their subcontractor, and that arrived promptly. To top off the experience, the final price turned out to be considerably less than the estimate! In summary, Fayard is a very professional company that knows what it's doing and has great employees and customer service.
